Colour within the Snow [OPEN WOLF] Empty
PostSubject: Colour within the Snow [OPEN WOLF]    Colour within the Snow [OPEN WOLF] EmptyMon Nov 12 2012, 17:59

The small white wolf nestled into the icy den she had made in the falling snow, the tiny black nose the only thing visible as she tightly closed her eyes curling tighter into a ball for warmth.

A shiver escaped her, a whimper echoing from the den's entrance under the thick, safety of the mooloolaba tree's nettles. Safety at last, beside the frozen lake but cold like she had never been before.

Without her mother's warmth, her father's soft voice she was alone here. Cold in the densely falling snow which attempted to comfort her like a long lost friend, but it was no use. Not without a home to return to.

All her siblings had long left before her, but she had remained behind. Finally leaving due to the unfairness it had pushed upon her dear parents, she had picked up and left. But being the runt of the little, the smallest of the small, due to her half-breed mixture she could barley whisper a word of aid to those that made their way past. Her shyness brought out her slight form to a whole new frame of mind.

And all those horror stories her older brother's had told her about growing up? Where they true? She hoped not..else the world was much scarier then it appeared.

Another whimper escaped her maw, nestling deeper into the fluffy tail and hid her nose from view. Trying to disappear.

OOC: not the best, reply if you wish Very Happy Would prefer a kind hearted, or perhaps overly protective wolf? Someone to bring her out of her shell for some fun! ^^ And she's not a pup, she's just a young she-wolf.

I bless the rains down in AFRICA.

Lingering in his soul had brought him out of the lowly, belittled area in which he had roamed carefree for the very first time. From the sun rising to setting with purple streaks upon the horizon, all was the same, and even more peculiar...he no longer followed the romancing of death as his predecessors had. Warm sands had tickled his whiskers, and the sounds of the lions' roar had soothed him during the night.

Now, though, his idea of a good time was not to dominate any longer but to understand the mysteries of the world. Truly, he had decided that to adventure was his route in life - not to be vindictive and hateful. Why linger on things that mattered not in life? Even now, after growing up in that environment, the only thing he hated was their culture and way of progression through society. It was atrocious to act to a neighboring terrain maliciously. How he wished to be the ruler of that horrid palace of doom instead of them. Perhaps, light would shed upon their skulls one day and they would awake from their slumbers.

Suddenly, a shrill cry gathered his attention, some poison seeping into the earth as he became startled. Curses he said to himself, as he watched the tall grasses die in the area in which he was standing. Sometimes, he wept a silent tear for the earth as his poison could sometimes consume the earth and all her matter within itself. It was evil, and sometimes he confused himself with his gift...or curse. Whatever it was. Anyways, there was a matter at hand that needed solving, a painful whimper. It resolved into silence once more. Deftly, silently he moved forward, his bright green and white tail slinking behind him.

"Hello?" he asked inquisitively. "Is there someone here?" he asked, golden orbs watching the reeds. Putting his massive skull to the ground, he sniffed a bit. He was a giant wolf, massive paws and eyes...and a heart. Dire wolf. That's what they called their kind. But he was not purely a dire wolf - other evils rested inside him.

Toxique, himself seemed very domineering. And, in a sense he could be quite bad. But only if someone was to threaten him or what he held dear. Otherwise, his attitude was bearable.

She whimpered once more as the cool air rushed into her small indented cave, whipping though her coat as if she was bare. But a noise, a startling noise had her ear's pricking with a nervous worry.

She froze, unsure if the deep rumbling voice was calling to her but as it continued she uncurled herself hesitantly.

Her nose appeared first, the small black bead sniffing nervously as the rest of her muzzle appeared. The rest of her small features followed, the icy blue eyes widening as they landed upon the ginormous wolf and squeaked with shock, scurrying backwards into her small den.

What was that! It was massive! A wolf easily four times her size, but then again when being so small..everything seemed so much bigger.

Massive paws with curled daggers of an assassin, which curled into the earth stepped lightly upon her surface, intelligent orbs touching the horizon with their warmth and haste. Large harks swayed as the wind rushed upon them, listening for the smallest discreet sound. He was quiet, all so quiet, like the fog that settled over the oceans, walking on its tip toes over the terrain. A small crevice in the earth, a den small enough for a fox perhaps, was the source of the whimpering - why, he couldn't have hardly fit his skull in there, let alone his entire bodice.

"Come out," he said, his large form commanding that what he said he done. His voice was not threatening though, for it never was. He stood like a guardian beside the small cave, looking in from the corner of his green eyes. Brutes simply watched him stand there for a few moments, knowing that he must be completely batty to seek out one who had not sought him.

Everyone knew what he was...but they didn't know who he was. Not even did they know his calling...nor the name of his mother...nor the shade of his heart. "It's ok. You can come out. No one will hurt you," he said, gently. Those must have been the most gentle words that he had ever uttered, as his language had been harsh and violent for most of his life. From the beginning, he had had to show dominance towards those in his own pack and that of his higher-up's. Hate ran thick through his veins, yet only sympathy could be read on his features. Of course, he did have the best intentions of being here. There were only certain individuals who he wished to rip to shreds.

Suddenly, he heard the rustling of leaves in far distance. His massive harks picked it up easily, as he saw a flash of crimson pelt mixed with ebony - it made him immediately rise to his feet and snarl in rage. Perhaps, he would scare her, perhaps he would not. This bastard would die though and pay in his blood for following Toxique all the way from the plains he loathed. "Stay," he said quietly to the small den, sharpened teeth bared as he stepped towards him...Blame. Son of Crepusculum and Draighean.

"What do we have here?" mocked the larger of the two brutes, with cream pelt highlighted with tones of crimson and ivory. "Seems like someone could neither beat the victor - the heir to the land or find a decent mate..." he said, shaking his skull in false dismay. "What a shame...Toxique," he added, pretending seem solemn.

Toxique wanted to rip his throat out, to tear him limb from limb like a ragdoll...but that would scare her. Why did he even care? Whoever was in there was clearly weak and deserved their death on a silver platter as well, so who even cared? He did. Oh, how he hated that he cared what she thought, in her scared tones. Fear was weakness, and perhaps he should just leave, and forget about her weakness and the hate of his victor. "Leave now," he snarled, turning back to the den.

"Another day," replied Blame, his orbs secretly upon the den with the young female in it. He laughed to himself, knowing that he would one day take her from him.

The bright green brute returned to the cave and sat as still as a statue. "He is gone...all is safe," he whispered, hoping to lure her from her hiding place so that he could look at her features and know them as he knew his own.
