Species: Wolf only

Colours: Reddish-brown, often with dark brown along their legs, and grey markings along their bodies.

Height: 28-32 inches shoulder height.

Basic History: Not much is said of the Russian wolves. However, in myths and legends they were considered to be spirits of treachery and ill-fortune. However, they were well-founded, for the wolves were fierce, strong, and cunning.

Habitat:Cold areas, mountainous regions, valleys, and some northern forests.

Quick Facts: The wolves are found in small family groups, with two to five in each pack. They have from 2-5 pups in their litters.
