A Talk. (Everyone) Empty
PostSubject: A Talk. (Everyone)   A Talk. (Everyone) EmptyMon Jul 02 2012, 12:23

Like the wind, ivory splattered pillars caressed the lands as they awaited their final destination. Here. And now, that he had arrived, he knew that there was quite a matter that was bothering the lands constantly. A sore was festering in the flames that conquered the weak and threatened the strong - their power could not easily be diminished. With every passing moment, the sore had grown larger, consuming more and more and ravaging the terrains of its resources.

"Come to me, my friends," called the young king, his crystal orbs casting over all the lands that laid in his domain. He felt that the time was near for blood to be shed and mixed with the earth that laid upon the plain. So many would it tear apart, and so many hearts would it break - so many would be released from life as they knew it. Alston hardly knew what laid ahead, and he asked his father for the strength to carry on as young stag in his first true battle.

A shrill cry escaped his velvet maw, calling all far and wide to the place they would meet. Like so many of these meetings though, he feared that unwelcome guests would try to invade his get-together. Already, he could feel the slate gray stag's mind touch his own, slipping into his thoughts as they both searched for the answers to an unknown solution. Was there a solution to their problem? If only he was in the form and mind of his father, who would surely know how to lighten and purify the world. Sometimes, he felt that leaving would just solve everything, but being a good king meant facing these problems head on.

This had gone on too long. It needed to end soon, before the sorrows of the world overwhelmed the joys.

Alston had arrived to save the world.

The silver and cream head shot up into the sky as he heard the call, knowing that once more he would show his side in things. Thowra snorted, calling in answer before heading off quickly, knowing the way to Vandin only too well now. Sometimes he knew there were times he would not be listened to, but he was one of the oldest horses alive.
Ally once to Ashton he had been, and that alliance rested with Alston also! Their king of all might be young, but he was worth hoping in. At least in his eyes he was. It was not long before he slid to a stop, a respectful distance from the younger stallion. He bowed his head for a few moments before raising it again. “Greetings, Alston.”

Sorrel sighed, leaping into a canter, knowing his way to the grounds as well. Along the way he was joined by Clearwater, and later yet, Wildfire as well.

Two newcomers made their way there as well, Abasi and Adla, the wolves who had only come of late.

Moonslight and her various children were there, as was Spyrax, who knew he was the one who would eventually take over after Sorrel.

The ghost of Ashton echoed in the distance, proud ivy eyes gleeming at the sight of his son as he drifted closer and closer to the slowly growing herd.

"Stay strong," he murmuered, coming to a halt beside his only living heir and rested a flickering nose on his wither "they can not see me...nor hear me. Speak none of what we have spoke of, for it is your plans."

He tugged his mane gently, knowing he would do what was right and what was needed.

***

As one a herd of mis-matched sizes came into view, the tall and strong speaking amoungst the small and weak as they trotted to the meeting place of safety. The call had been heard from miles away, the message passed from hand to hand though the skies. All should come and hear what the young king had to say.

Wolves also prowled behind them, packs of different kinds gazing at the other breeds with nervous eyes. They were loyal to the king, yet trust was not always so obvious between the newer and younger members who were yet to meet.

"Greetings Alston," a mighty white stallion said, dipping his head slightly "we come to hear your words."

Even the thin, half crazed form of Ashwin could be made out in the distance hiding between the trees.

OOC: white stallion is Duilleoga of Carrick Cliff. Ashton cannot be seen by others, only Alston and he might be seen as a little insane if the other see him talking to himself Very Happy

A group of ten horses comes in together two black stallions, a red mare that kept bugging Dragon ,three or so silver mares , a brown stallion, a dapple stallion, with a cream filly and a blue roan stallion. There might have been more about but these were the ones that came forward.

A large brown she-wolf with collie like markings keeps far from the others and good thing to or some might just see how many scars litter her body. Beside her a lost and lonely looking black colt with bones as lower legs and a wiry mane and tail, he is afraid of where this wolf has brought him but feels safe with her around.

The wolf speaks up "I am untrusting of all here but I only come as am a light and I am no mare to which to take in a colt, I am a she-wolf I shall take my leave as soon as this one finds a home here among those of his own kind"

Though with the new dawn of a rising day of reign, his pillars did not quake or his tone waver. You would have never guessed that he was but a colt living in the bodice of a stag - a heir living in the shoes of a monarch. As the sun had set upon the horizon, the dawn had already began to rise...and not even the flamed moon would stop the existence of the sun as he shed light upon the earth and calmed all of her creatures. Even the glimmer of the skies of blue that shone from his eye-sockets, glimpsing over the world and sobbing over its darkened corners. Sobbing for those that wished to dispose of the earth's greenness.

Even a king had his woes, and with no beautiful goddess to lead by his side, the days grew even more strenuous and lethal to his character. Always, though would he remain true to his father's ways - the ways of the light. I shall, father he thought quietly, wondering if father ever heard things from his father before him in great times of battle where valor was needed.

"I know that there is a battle coming in the midst," he finally said, with a deep sigh of sadness. "It is inevitable that some of us will die, while others will live to see yet another day in this beautiful and deadly terrain," he stated. "Like my father before me...I shall lead you into battle with high aspirations. But unlike these last times, the defenders shall make the first move on our enemy," he said.

"And he shall perish," said the young king. It would be a while before they took off for the terrain of eminent death. Perhaps, it was not such a good battle strategy to move in on enemy territory, but it was the only way.

The call caught the ear of the large black stallion and his young apprentice.
"It has already begun we must make haste Shadowfax! The assassins sped there pace, silently moving towards the gathering.

"Freeze and keep quiet" whisper the master, his red orbs piercing the thin line of foliage surrounding the gathering."If we get any closer they might spot us."

"We are no more than 10m form them, we could strike from here, drive our daggers into there jugulars, run them through like spears!" He took a stance as he prepared to launch into the ambush."And then disappear into the forest on the other side they will have no way of catching us then wouldn't you agree master?" His eyes narrowed around his blood red orbs as he choose his target.

"No young one, I already have a plan we will wait and strike when the time is right, negotiation is all about timing."

Ashton smiled at his son softly, knowing he would do them all well. He bowed his head, offering him strength and gestured for him to speak with the approaching crowds.

***

The mighty white stallion of Carrick Cliff bowed his head, kneeling at the head of the group he lead.
"I offer my alliance, my King," he said faithfully, head bowed "your father was a true leader, and with his blood in your veins I believe you will show the same strength and valor that he did. I shall fight beside you and offer my herd's strength."

He stayed in the awkward position, awaiting permission to rise. Around him, the horses sunk to their knees and the wolves to their paws, muttering their words of praise at his strength and offering their strength.

All apart from Ashwin who stood dazed and lost in the tree line, unable to hear nor understand his nephew's words.

"I also offer my wisdom of battle Sire, if you so require. I have fought beside your father many times and understand the coming and goings of war."

OOC: Very Happy

A Talk. (Everyone) Empty

A nation that had fallen apart at the seams and was on its last legs as they spoke in hushed tones would soon rise to be force. They would force Frenzy out of their lands, they would enforce the rules, and they would reinforce the notion that all were truly safe. Noble was his stature as he watched many others gather around him, kings from terrains far away that roamed the rocky mounts and the hidden valleys of succulence.

As he thought, his mind drifting to where his father was, a voice brought him out of his thoughts. "I shall try to lead you as well as he, but I fear that you will be disappointed, for I have not his experience nor wisdom as of yet," he said quietly, eyes turning to the other stag slowly. He nodded to them as they came and offered their alliance and support. Others, such as the Hykran offered their support in battle, yet...Fantasma stood in the back of the gathering. Not saying a word. Quietly, he strode up, wings folded by his hefty sides easily. His horn seemed to glimmer with perfection in the sunlight, yet what did the father of Frenzy have to say? Did he wish to fight with them? Or stand upon the side lines as some of their own were slaughtered?

"You kill those that know not who they yet are," he said quietly, hushed with lacked meaning and emotion. This subject was horrid to him, knowing that one of his own lines must endure the same fate. Zaina, the striped Alicorn, landed beside him with a 'thud' to the earth. "Do not...father, he is not right in the head. He must die for all the lives he has taken," said she, innocent gleaming eyes turned toward him and the king.

Alston knew how to handle this situation, knowing that a good king always stood up for what he believed in. "I am doing what is best for everyone here, Fantasma. Your child must die for what he has done and what he will do in the future if we don't stop him. I understand...I have lost those close to me as well. And my young mother is heart broken still over our loss that she has found no one," he said. Looking up to the sky, his heart bled for the loss of the true king. Who was he to be leading this brigade of horses....to their murder.. No, this fight must happen with only him. And the opponent.

Hearing something in the distance, he snapped his skull around. "He is among us," he said quietly.

A Talk. (Everyone) Empty
PostSubject: Re: A Talk. (Everyone)   A Talk. (Everyone) EmptySun Jan 06 2013, 22:03

A pair of stallions approached the gathering, one as dark as the other was light. The king and beta of The Gemdas moved to join the group both bowing to the young King. Heart of Gold, brightly glowing as a controlled fire, stayed silent, and moved away from his own leader, knowing that the black stag would be the one to speak.

"Greetings, Alston," spoke the great black stallion. "My beta and I are at your service in this." he said simply, before moving back to join his beta, unconcerned that Frenzy was approaching. He'd seen the rise and fall of others such as Frenzy, and had been one of the fallen himself, at one time. He wasn't afraid of the hellion, only wary.

A black mare watched meanwhile, keeping to herself. Her grandfoal, too, was silent, neither one wanting to disturb the words spoken by others, both merely listening. The first was Jeu De'Sprea, the hellion spy of Armada. The second, the winged stallion Honore-Aurore, son of Dominique-Aime.

A few others appeared. A black part-hellion from the coast, his measure of hellion blood showing only in the occasional spark of deep red that emanated from his mane and tail. He joined the spy and her descendant, nodding to them carefully.

Twins came next, two light-colored horses, one a stallion with a creamy coat, the other a pure white young fae. Two more accompanied them, a black and white fae whose most striking features were the twin blue orbs that rested in her face, brilliantly clear and deep. Beside her came a young stallion whose coat was the color of the morning sun, a brilliantly golden hue, which was strikingly brilliant next to his black mane and snowy tail.

These four came from the far reaches of the mountainous lands, having lived among the ancient trees of the Silver Forest. They bowed as one, the four finely sculpted heads almost brushing the ground as the young horses silently confirmed Alston as their chosen leader.

A lone fae came next, her coat white except for the black streak along her back, which gave way to a mane and tail, both the shade of coals. Her startlingly green eyes were full of pain, although no scars marked her bodice. She nodded to the young king, standing away from the others, her every small movement suggesting a lack of any emotion, any will to live beyond that day, that singular moment.

The last to come was a grey fae, whose mane and tail shine a pure, ghostly white. Her hooves were as pure a white, marked by snowy legs. Her face, however, was covered by a black mask, and her ears were as black as the night sky. Out of the mask peered twin stormy gray orbs, whose colors seemed to swirl like the very storm clouds they were reminiscent of. She did not bow to Alston, although she favored him with a nod of approval. the ghosts of the dead were strong here, for they too, sensed the strength of the newest king. Bás an olc smiled slightly, a rare glimmer of normality as she waited patiently for what was to come.
