A powerful horse cantered towards the valley land, knowing that it would not take long for him to get there. His trength of will over the ice and snow was sometimes something found a little daunting by the other horses, but he never used it, unless it was needed. Right now though, he came for a reason, a reason completely important that needed to be seen. He only had found one ally for his land, and that was Ashton.

With one last powerful leap he was there on the snowy plain amongst the silver barked trees, turning his head to see whether there was anyone around. No one seemed to around and he wondered at that. He knew that there were a few here, but would they show up now? He was not a horse that many got to meet, only those who he wanted to know about his breed. Why had he come to this odd place, where horses seemed to blend in with the trees?

There might be two leaders of his homeland, who ran in seperate herds, but they both ruled by each others side. That was a custom though that they had decided upon when they found this land though. They did not have to be in the same herd, for some Eispferd were desendants of him and some of her. Some even would eventually carry both their lines, though it was rare for two Eispferd horses to breed with each other knowing that both leaders would be in the resultant foal. Such things though were Toendra's to worry about. He was more the one who was the warrior type.

He did not have that damned bloodlust thing though, else he'd lose his powers over the ice and become a hellion. It was not something he was even interested in doing ever. There were some lines that he just could not cross. When he was angry, he had to keep it calm and controlled. That was the only thing he could do.

He stopped where he was, waiting, knowing that someone would be along soon enough. He did not leave his land enough to know who the tennants were of a land, seeing as there was little that threatened his icy home. But this was a place that he wanted to be at this time. The land made him feel good, and that meant that it was one of the ones he sought now.

Strong, silver coated stag galloped across his beautiful lands, his thick mane and tail streaming behind him like a royal banner. He was royal indeed for he was indeed the king of this majestic valley, this hide-away that had saved many lives from war and famine and death before.

However, there was a change in the way he ran. He ran with purpose, as if something had called to him. And it had. An intruding stallion had entered his lands and whether or not this stallion was a threat was a mystery to Cadifor. He did not need back-up, for he could protect himself rather well if he needed to against any other equine in this kingdom.

Once he reached the stallion, he slid to a halt, a small cloud of dust rising around his legs and settling slowly as he walked towards the stag. "Greetings, stranger, I am Cadifor. May I know what I owe this intrusion?" He was polite, and pleasant, but still slightly apprehensive due to the stallion being a stranger to him.

He bowed his dark chocolate palomino head towards the other calmly. It was about time that they met, but how was he going to go about this? Allies were what he sought at the moment. "greetings Cadifor. I am Eispferdkonig, king of the Ice Tundra, and leader of the Eispferd horses."
he smiled at the other, knowing that courtesy was needed at the moment when it came to meeting a new person. "I come to seek out an alliance."

His dark brown eyes looked over this stallion, wondering whether to trust his words or not. An alliance with the leader of an entire race of equines sounded like a wonderful opportunity.

"It is a pleasure to meet you, Eispferdkonig. What would this alliance entail?" he asked, his ears flicking in different directions, waiting for some sort of commotion, any sign of danger, his mind constantly defensive, ready to protect his family and friends at any cost.

He smiled at the other as he thought about the reason he was here this time. "this is one of the first times any of my kind has left our homeland, so you are one of the first to meet with one of us." He sighed. "I am older than you know." He snorted.

"Our land is a delicate one, and we need help from others to keep the hellions out. not for ourselves, but for what new other types of horses that come. I and Toendra who is queen of my breed and my sister, do not mind smiling, but I have heard that it has a habit of freezing other horses solid if they fall into the water, though it is harmless to drink."
