Silver Bullet was caught by the humans as a yearling. During her captivity, she was always watching for how things worked when horses came and went. When two wild horses, Black Bullet and Bloody Bullet were brought in, she immediately fell in love with Bloody Bullet.
She helped them to plan to escape, on the notion that she came with them, for she barely remembered the wild life that was stolen from her. They agreed and together they escaped
