Dylo, Twivir, and Mezor

The three young brutes stood poised near the river, each considering the water with interest.

The first of the three was Dylo. Though not the oldest of the three, he was looked upon as the leader. he was very much like his father, Soul Render, in appearance. His fur was a mix of white and poisonous green, with grey along his legs and belly. His eyes were the same shade of green as his markings. All in all, he was the image of his father.

Beside him, in between the poison wolf and his younger brother, stood Twivir, another poison wolf. Unlike Dylo, this one was brown and green, with eyes like their father's. However, the oddly colored wolf was standing carefully, which betrayed his mutilated hind leg, which was a serious handicap.

The final one in the trio was the youngest, Mezor, a black and silver wolf, who seemed to be constantly in shadow, because... Well, he was. The final brute was able to control darkness with ease, and he hated being in the light.

Suddenly, Dylo jumped into the river, swimming smoothly near the shore. Next, Mezor splashed into the water, before Twivir carefully moved into it as well, flanked by his healthier brothers, in case he needed help in the crossing.

A few times the two stronger wolves pulled their brother, but for the most part, all three swam own their own strength. Once they were across, they climbed the bank and shook themselves off, nipping playfully at each other a bit before heading farther inland.

They were on the island which had been called Alaknanda by the horses. Having reached maturity, they were searching for the beginnings of their packs, so that they could continue in their war against the wolves of light, among them, their oldest sibling, Tirona.

"Dark beyond measure, we come here for pleasure," murmured Twivir, causing Dyloe to start a bit.

"What's up, gimpy?" asked the leader, looking at his older brother curiously.

"Nothing, just reminded a bit of Tirona."

"Shut it then," hissed Mezor, his blue eyes flashing a bit in anger.

"Sorry, it slipped out. Anyway, let's announce our presence," was the harsh reply.

"Fine."

The three raised their heads, howling loudly in unison, their voices eerie and cold, making a chilling music as their voices rose and dropped in a seemingly random order.

When they had finished, the island was silent, as were they, waiting for a response from a she-wolf.

They were both siblings and cousins to each other, the three young she wolves who wandered through the island checking out different brutes before hurrying on as if there was somewhere they had to be. There were too many of the light here and they were annoyed by this.

Two of the she wolves were identicle, they were black wolves of a huge size like their father Draghien, though they had gold underbellies. The third though was different. These two were known as Ambrosia and Auroele and were full siblings.

She has a off black, leaning toward violet body, but it merges into pitch black as you look at her neck. The tip of her tail is also black. She has a ton of white on her too, like under her chin and around her eyes, her chest, her belly, and all four of her legs. Beautiful silver cream markings are all over her body, that shine in the moons light like a torch. Some of them are in the shape of beautiful cresent moons. She was the cousin of the other two, and she was known as Mullato.

Though they were each beautiful, it was in a dark and deadly way.

Hearing the dark sounding male howls all three answered, in their own dark ways.

Dylo

The leader of the trio perked up his ears, smiling slightly at the response they'd gained. Near him, Twivir was quiet, tense and still, waiting with barely controlled anticipation. The white and green wolf knew his brother would treat it in many ways like a hunt. all three would aim to please, whether by lying or by being their own, dangerous selves.

Mezor, meanwhile, had drawn away from the two, sitting under the shade of a young weeping willow. The darkness wolf was quickly shifting the shadows, busy with his favorite element. When he was done, Dylo was pretty certain there would be a shadow lair beneath the willow. The silver and black wolf was uncomfortable in sunlight, and if there was prolonged conversation, he'd want to be in the shade.

As soon as the three came into view, Dylo sized each up, intrigued. The first two had no discernible differences, both were around the size of Qier, black and beautiful. The third, however, was dramatically different. She was a shade of deep, dark, grey, before turning to pitch black along her neck. There was also white however, and silver markings.

"Greetings," spoke Mezor, standing in the shadows, his silver markings shining brightly in the pitch black darkness of his creation. "I am Mezor."

"And I'm Twivir," added the oldest.

"Dylo, is my calling," added the final one of the three.

"We are three of the sons of Soul Render's pack. Who are you?" added Dylo, moving forward slowly, his claws sinking into the soft earth as he considered them all. If things turned out at all like they usually did, he and Mezor would soon claim the two black she-wolves, while the final wolf would either choose, or be forced into going with Twivir.

"Ambrosia I am," said one of the black females with the golden underbellies.

The other then added, "Auroele. We are sisters, and the other with us, Mullato is our cousin. Ambrosia and I are daughters of Draighien and Le Soliel."

"And I am the daughter of Lune and Rochelle, though I'm nothing like either of those two goody goody wolves,:

The three she-wolves stood in perfect unison with each other, staring at the three dark males. Finally all their luck had come their way and given them three like themselves.

Mezor

I smirked a bit, blue eyes shining fiercely. "Draighien you say? As I recall then, our fathers are allies, and one of our brothers is headed towards your father's territory now. We are three of the sons of Soul Render and Jalie. We, like our father, can control a certain element. My own specialty," I paused, enlarging my shadow as I stepped out into the light, "is darkness."

"Ours are poison though," added Twivir, glaring at me a bit. I knwe what he was mad about; I was able to demonstrate my powers easily, while he had too lie in wait for an unlucky creature, then kill it. Not all that terribly impressive, overall. Even Dylo was able to give a better show when he wanted to, since he was able to chase his prey, toy with it, before killing it.

"We three are searching for the beginnings of our separate packs, as you've likely guessed. Would any of you care to join mine?" okay, so I wasn't much for a long, drawn out conversation in some cases. Still, better to get to the point then bore a possible mate to tears.

"Interesting. I can control the tides from the power from the moon i get from my mother," Mullato replied.

"Whereas we can use the sun's heat to our will as well as control earth and storms," Auroele added. "I have the earth."

And the other replied, "I have the storms."

Then all three replied as one. "We would be interested!"

Twivir

"Then choose from among us, which you'd prefer. Or, if you'd rather, we could duke it out. Although Dylo would win, in all probability." was my immediate response. On the other hand, I knew if I could get in the first blow, Dylo would be down for a few minutes. Fortunately, that's all it would take. sadly, the poison I had inherited from my father didn't work as well on my sibling as it did on other creatures. Instead of killing them, it simply stunned the for a bit. A fact that Dylo had often proven true in his fights against all of his siblings, especially Mezor, who continually tried winning against us poison wolves, despite the fact that it was hopeless pretty much no matter what.

"Flattered, Twiv'," said Dylo, smiling. I could tell he'd already decided on Mullato as his mate, despite his outward pretense of allowing them the choice. I hoped she would choose him, if only because otherwise Mezor would have a fight for her, and he wouldn't win against an angry Dylo. I never even considered her choosing me. What dire wolf would want a mate who wasn't entirely fit? Not the daughters of most dire wolves, I knew that much.

Me? I'd be alright if anyone chose me. I suppose I wished it were Auroele, if only to beat one of my brothers in something, but ah well... I doubted it would ever happen, and that's just life.

Mullato smiled as she considered the three wolves before her. There were so many things going through her head at the moment and she was the one who always chose first who she would go with. That was the way she had always been.
She eyed each male once more. "I think I'll choose you Dylo." She smiled at him, though it was not a pretty look for her when she did.

Auroele was the next to stake a claim on one of the others. "Twivir."

That left Ambrosia for Mezor

Dylo

The green and white wolf smiled a bit, approaching Mullato with an easy confidence. "Excellent. I think this has all come out pretty nicely, don't you?" he said, partially to the three she-wolves, though mainly to his brothers. Twivir nodded, seeming to be somewhat surprised that any sane she-wolf would want to come with him. Dylo rolled his eyes a bit at his older brother. They may have been related, but at times, Dylo could've sworn he never knew what was going on in that strange wolf's head.

"Now, Mullato, if you please, I'd love to show you the desert... The sand in my home is almost as red as blood." he said, brushing his muzzle against hers for a moment.

Twivir

I smiled a bit at Dylo, before shaking my head. "Nope, it never winds up being even. See, we'll all wind up thinking that our mate is the best, and so no matter what, it's unbalanced. I'm satisfied though... And hopefully everyone else is too." I said, then barked softly to Auroele, wagging my tail a bit. I didn't plan to go back to the deserts. Instead, I wanted to see about Thunder Meadow. There weren't any wolves there, and the hunting was good. Plus, the shady areas were incredibly comfortable. All in all, it was ripe for a pack.

Mezor

I was the last to speak, and when I did it was in my normal, quiet, dangerous voice, though the words that came out were far from dangerous. "I'm honored to have won you, Ambrosia. Do you mind Danger Gully? If not, I'd rather like to go there. If so, where would you like to live? I'm not too particular on such things, just so long as there's good hunting and you're content there." I smiled a bit. I preferred to see about a few different options before choosing, so I welcomed input from others on places to go. Then I did a bit of exploring in those regions, and then I chose. One thing was for sure though: the deserts were far too sunny. It was absolutely awful living there. But hey, I suppose that someone had to go there... Just not me.

Mullato laughed as she heard his words. “The desert is fine by me, foe were were born and raised there.” It would be interesting, his darkness would only enhance her moon powers more. “Think your shadows can withstand the power of the moon though?” It was a teasing question which she had asked.

Auorele smiled. “The forests call to me, but only the one which has no wolves in it. The one run by the stag called Saberdoria, Pheonix's heir.” She smiled. “I am sure that he will allow us to join his land. Awfully lonely he must be with no other horses to talk to.”

Ambrosia considered his question. “The gully I would prefer to avoid.” She smiled. “There is an unclaimed land in the mountains which we could take for ourselves, I do believe. It is the mountains that I have always wanted for a home afterall.”
