PostSubject: From Heaven Itself Came Three Goddesses - OPEN   From Heaven Itself Came Three Goddesses - OPEN EmptyFri Jan 07 2011, 22:34

Long feathering curls drifted tranquilly in the shallow waters of a rippling stream. Silvery daggers moved without sound within the liquid she moved every night under her gravitational pull. Life continued through the process as it always had after her coming, for so much silence followed her that no one would notice that a lone vixen tread the grounds unless they searched relentlessly for one of meticulous appearance and a calm mind. The silver daggers moved from the trickling water bed to dry land, as they continued through reeds alive with dragonflies and bumble bees that swarmed around to pollinate flowers that many would call pretty, or even beautiful. These eyes had seen them for thousands of years. They were nothing new.

Light glistened off of the sky hued pelt, the stars that laid upon it dancing under the cascading light. Enchanting purple hued eyes glanced behind her, wondering if they, too had followed her to this land. Of course, they did. Tossing her majestic skull, she made her way to the center, massive form standing out in the confusion of the lands. At this time of day, there were many others rushing around, trying to find their perfect match - all the better for Kamaria to find the one best suited to give an abode to a goddess, one for each of them. It was a challenging, but all the heavenly creatures had always taken kindly to those.

Ivory wings glinted from far above in the sky as a large form swooped down to stand just to the right of the moon goddess. Cygnus tucked her beautiful feathered wings to her side as she looked ahead. At the moment upon her arrival to the river land, she was suddenly captivated by its beauty. Out of them all, she was the youngest, having only lived two thousand years. Sometimes, she was just so captured by how wonderfully their earth had been created by mother nature. Now, all they had to do was find someone who appreciated life as much as them.

Bright earthy hues caressed her tall bodice as she stood there, feeling the wind in her purest of ivory tresses. Warm amber eyes were glazed with contentedness as she glanced slightly over to the moon goddess. Cygnus' emerald optics danced with sheer joy, yet the lavender ones looked as if they had seen this story a million times over. Being a goddess of protection and defense, she had not watched the aspects of the world that the eyes of the moon had. Speaking of protection, she quickly placed a block on all the minds of the goddesses so that none could see the innermost thoughts of heaven's representatives.

Finally, a streak of ebony struck the perfect drizzling skies as enormous dark wings flapped around within it. Large was her wingspan, making the ebony vixen capable of flying faster than one could have wished. No words were said as the feathers were tucked to her barrel, pillars moving briskly around to stand just to the left of the moon goddess. Worry raced not through her heart, for she, too was used to meeting new souls and helping them pass. After all, that was her job description as the goddess of death.

Her beauty stunned the hearts of even the strongest of stags as they all now emerged from their places to meet the three. Most stayed their distance, in fear that they would be rejected, or whatever kept them away. Blood red swirls upon her light formed bodice glistened as the sun shone down upon it, a twinkle added to her bright blue eyes. Sakura found speaking rather unneeded at this moment. Instead, they would cherish this small moment of silence until the stallions regained their courage to come and speak with them. All of them doubted they would find love, but you never known until you try.

Castien

Proud stallion stood tall, wisdom and age clearing showing within his warm orbs. He seeked someone to make him whole, to wish upon their every word and love with every feeling within his large, 17hh bodice.
He had, had love once. A daughter and a land too, but that had all been taken in a single second. Only he has escaped, unharmed on the outside but broken hearted on the inner side.
Noble head held high, chocolate tresses tumbled over his dappled shoulder rippling with his graceful, fluid movements.

Warm, gentle orbs ran over the riverbed land, the sight before him making him pause. There was three of them, each more beautiful then the last. So perfect, so...inhumane. He had never seen anything as such before, but he knew that beauty of only half the story.
His orbs dragged over the mares, wondering which he should approach or should he just continue on his way.
No, one seemed to call to him. She was a paint, yet something more. White feathered wings clung to her barrel, tucked neatly in place. She was around the same height as him, maybe a hand or two but that didn't push him away.

Large hooves treaded nimbly over the rocks, his head bowed slightly as he moved towards her.
"Hello..." soft lyrics murmured, eyes locking with hers.

Quietly, the three sets of four pillars remained in place as sunlight cascaded off of each of them. Dark evergreen orbs resembling a thick forest glinted in the marvelous summer morning. Earth hues shone prevalently as she stepped into the clearing, stretching her soft, feathered wings. They were gently caressed with sunlight, her entirety engulfing the gaze of every passing stag. To many, she was a mirage, something that was only to look at and not to touch, not to speak to. Lucidly, her strong jointed pillars tread over to a silver birch tree, the bark worn through years of cruel weather and torrent beating upon it. After all, it was expected, seeing as it stood directly to the left of the raging river, beautiful stones protruding from the top of it. Pebbles drifted at the bottom, settling under the raging whirlpool of white, violent waters shimmering on the surface.

There was no panacea for her excitement and the small thread of joy that seemed to follow her everywhere she went. No self-doubt was found in the glorious looking goddess as she confidently stood on the bank, sipping some of the water as it swirled in pockets, caught up by some larger rocks. Raising her ivory flecked skull, she glanced around, feeling one's presence close-by. Flicking one hark back, she distinctly heard the moving of daggers against the sodden terrain. Oh, yes! They, too were coming closer. Cygnus only hoped that they would not pass by like the many others before those had. If only they would stay for a small chat, it would be clear that the goddesses did not want to speak to the stags just for their own cruel amusement. In fact, their reasoning behind it was to find love. If it was capable, this was surely the place for it.

Cygnus had lost her focus momentarily but felt it return suddenly at his soft tones. Unlike some of the greater powers, she was not given the capability to know the inner thoughts of others. Instead, she did the opposite - protected others from having their minds read. Honestly, she doubted this stag could - he looked quite kind and definitely handsome enough. What of his personality, though? The goddess supposed she would find out soon enough. He was a lighter gray, greatly similar to a forming storm, with both darker and lighter points upon his bodice. Tresses of ebony hung freely at his side, rippling like waves on the sea. The stag was a bit shorter than her, but she didn't mind. Everyone was equal, no matter their worldly characteristics, in her eyes. "Greetings, stag," she nodded her skull in a slight bow, orbs easily coming up to meet his gaze. "I am Cygnus, goddess of protection," she announced. Surely, he would state his own calling.

Dark thoughts swirled around the handsome stallion's crown, easily matching the ebony hue of his gleaming pelt. Swift, confident strides carried the tall stallion forward, his midnight head raised high, coming accustomed to one used to giving instructions and leading. Lean muscles moved in a smooth, synchronised rhythm under his pelt, as large daggers easily sliced through the lush grass-covered ground, propelling the stallion onward. Tossing his head, the stag's ebony tresses rippled and flowed in the eddies of the wind that blew around him. His pelt was slightly ragged, tresses tangled from his long journey after his exile from the Guild he had done his best to lead. The events surrounding his forced and permanent exile still angered him, but it was useless now. At least he still had his magic. A single, spiralled horn rose from the middle of his forehead, rising towards the sky, as black as night and the rest of his pelt. Fiercely intelligent pools of onyx scanned the land, wary, for after being alone for so long, he had forgotten how to interact with others. It would once again take time to get used to another's company. Why had he come, then? Even he could not answer. After waking today, the black stallion had felt a sudden, vicious longing for company. The hole where his heart used to be was merely a void, devoid of any feeling. The Guild had been his life, his family, and now it was gone. He was going to have to move on, difficult as it would be to leave his past behind.

At the back of his head, Akkarin felt the whispering thoughts of the mind of others around him. He wasn't consciously reaching out to them, oh no. The untrained ones had no shields, or were erratic at most, allowing their surface thoughts to leak through the barriers, shouting at him. Wincing slightly, the powerful stallion shut his mind, feeling a blessed silence once more despite the many horses mingling around. Ignoring those that stared at him or beckoned, Akkarin strode onwards, uncertain what he was looking for, but certain that he would find the equine anyway. Looking around him as he walked, the stallion appreciated the lush greenery around him, the tall trees that swayed in the wind, and the leaves that fell softly around him whenever the wind blew. The stallion shook his head, tossing his tresses back as he journeyed forward. He was weary; who wouldn't be? Life was a journey, and the path, recently, had been a rough and bumpy one, full of hills and valleys that he had to journey across. Akkarin doubted that it would actually be smooth-sailing, but just for once, he would appreciate a lush plain where there were no ups and downs.

Shaking his head once more, Akkarin started to walk forward, wondering why it was he had come here today. He didn't want to have a herd yet; he was enjoying life as it was - free of responsibility, not needing to worry about anyone except himself. A large burden had been lifted from his shoulder when he had left the Guild. His friend would ensure the Guild was kept safe, he hoped. Lorlen would be a good leader and was a worthy successor, even if he did not protest him being thrown out of the Guild. After all, no one would really understand the danger they were until, until it was too late. Again and again, they had this folly. Rarely did they bother to look beyond their sheltered lives and into the near future. No, that was his job, but he was punished for doing it.

As the onyx stallion moved, powerful muscles contracting and relaxing underneath his silky pelt, a large crowd caught his eye. Intrigued, the stallion pricked his ears in that direction, idly wondering what the cause of the commotion was. Almost as if his legs had a will of his own, Akkarin turned towards them, mingling among the other horses – all stallions, he noticed – to see what had caught their eye. His dark gaze levelled forward, and immediately, he caught his breath.

Three beautiful mares, two with wings and one without were standing in the centre, looking around as though waiting for someone to approach them. They had an ethereal beauty, almost other-worldly. Surely, they could not be mere mortals? Arching his neck, the stallion looked around, wondering why no one stepped forward. Then it hit him, and he snorted in slight contempt. They were all too scared of rejection. Bearing that thought in mind, he started to move forward at a stately pace, cautious but respectful. He sensed no danger from them, and did not try to read their thoughts. They had a right to their privacy.

Just then, another stallion, one of a grey hue trotted towards one of them – the white, winged mare as the couple moved to the riverside. It bothered him not, for although they were all beautiful, there was one who stood out for him. An inexplicable feeling rose in his chest, as he looked more closely at the ebony fae. Her pelt was as smooth as satin, gleaming with subtleties and mysteries, with blood-red swirls standing out vividly on her pelt. It was not her beauty that captured him. It was the feeling that this mare’s storey threads resonated the most strongly with his.

He drew nearer, lifting his head as the breeze blew from the side, flipping his dark tresses over his mane. Akkarin stopped in front of her, a friendly, gentle expression in his eyes as he sank into a graceful bow, muzzle sweeping down to touch the ground, horn pointing directly at her before raising himself once more. "Greetings," he said, his voice velvet-like, mysterious. "My name is Akkarin. My ladies, it is indeed a pleasure to meet you. Might I know your names?" Though he spoke equally politely to both, his gaze was for the midnight goddess.

Was she The One?

(OOC: Sorry, I can’t remember exactly which one you said was for him. Was it Sakura?)

PostSubject: Re: From Heaven Itself Came Three Goddesses - OPEN   From Heaven Itself Came Three Goddesses - OPEN EmptyFri Jan 28 2011, 12:10

Gentle gales came along to sweep leaves from their abodes in the enormous trees, flailing them along the surface of the ground. They frolicked in the lakes, finding their landing in a pile near some bright red apples. Porcelain tresses blew back freely upon the painted nape of the protection goddess. Her dark orbs gleamed with content at the stag before her, feeling quite sure that their conversation would go somewhere pleasing. It wasn't Cygnus' forte to tell what the future beheld, so she wasn't sure. Reassuringly, she looked to the two other goddesses, who still had not attracted someone worthy enough to do more than stare at their perfection. She knew they would find love, right down in the center of their hearts. It took a certain matter of time though. Everyone had some sort of idea that love didn't simply grow from the ground, planted there for their consumption.

The ebony goddess kept her wings tucked at her slender side as she sighed regretfully and looked at the moon goddess to see if she was just as miserable. All the others' fates looked promising, but the death goddess had no hope, nothing to run home to. Not even a long lost lover appealed to her soul as it did to the moon. Thoughts erupted in her mind as she lowered her gaze defiantly. They said she had lost everything that made up her personality through experiencing the pain and suffering of death so much. Why did they think she was a lost cause? No one would come; perhaps, it was out of fear that they would be condemned by even speaking to her. Either way, she would endure this until they had all found what they came here for.

"Don't feel down," the beautiful moon goddess coaxed, touching her warm nose to the ebony fae's neck. "I have no one, either," she sighed, for it wasn't the complete truth. To her words, Sakura made no reply; everyone knew what she had done to that poor stag...Ganymede. No doubt, he would show up and try to make the 'moon' love him again - it wouldn't work. With another sigh and a toss of her beautiful onyx locks, she began to stroll around the land. They still gawked, their jaws hanging open like those of imbeciles would, but apparently, they couldn't help it.

Sakura felt a million eyes on her as she stopped by a willow tree, sipping the trickling water as it rushed past her all at once. In an instant, she felt refreshed but not renewed. She looked young in appearance, getting giggles from the colts and stares from the stags. On the inside, she was much too conflicted, having to deal with that annoying child and deal with all his minions. Sakura hated being the only one that could control his antics, but whatever. Someone had to protect the world. How noble...how patriotic...that's what she always heard it - she'd learned to endure it. Shade caressed her form as she looked around. Sakura couldn't help but feel she was being watched instead of simply stared at. Any moment, she thought someone was going to emerge from the trees and say hello. That was ridiculous.

Through the mangled branches, the sunlight still seemed to shine through and beat upon her like a piercing ray of pure light. That just made her stand out even more, her blood red marks showing more prominently. They were beautiful and dangerous, signifying the one who controlled death himself. Her thin pillars stood squared, no relaxed, and her lilac orbs darted back and forth. Sakura always seemed to be 'on guard'.

At a moment's relaxation, all the worries and thoughts came back to haunt her. They always clouded the air around her mind, wanting to taint it into giving in. Balancing three tasks at one time took too much from her mind, especially when one was ruling over the underworld. Every time trouble started to brew with the living dead, she was always summoned - mostly because, she was one of the few true 'demon slayers'. Of course, there was an entire breed of them, which originated from her. They were called Zelgerals...colts and fillies given the capability to use dark magic and slay dark forces from her. They were essential but unfortanately dying off.

So deep in thought was the beautiful goddess that she had hardly noticed the approaching stag. Gracefully, she lifted her skull and turned to face him. "Greetings," soft, clear lyrics carried to his harks. Although he was no god, she had to admit that he was quite handsome. Actually, he looked similar to her except for the spiraling horn that sat atop his skull. Just from his presence, she could tell he came from a position of power, but it didn't appeal to her. Sakura would give him her time, but she doubted it was going anywhere.

"I am Sakura, the goddess of death," she replied, her vocals flickering with hardly any emotion. She wondered if he knew what he was getting himself into by speaking with her. The company was nice though, so she would keep him around for a bit. "That is Cygnus, the goddess of protection," she mentioned, nodding to the earth hued fae with ivory patches upon her bodice. "And, that is Kamaria, the goddess of the moon.." she said finally. "It is nice to meet you," she said softly. Sakura noticed this was the most speaking she had done in many moons, but perhaps, in some odd way, it would help ease the pain.

Long red chestnut pillars carried Wildfire through the river flats. For a long time he had had but one mare in his herd, his queen and half sister, Charme. Now though he felt the need to find others for The Rim of Heaven. Especially, seeing as Trainwreck had threatened his lands upon leaving. Well, Wildfire had forced him out, and though at the moment he knew the place was safe, would it still be when he returned?

This would only be a short trip to Alaknanda, there was a lot on this king's mind at the present. His red chestnut head held high, with its long golden horn pointing up into the air, he moved carefully along, careful not to touch anything with the gold and red flames upon his neck and rear. He might be hellion in appearance because of those flames, but it was his mother, Shimmer that he was more like. Those flames barely were warm, he cared too much for his surroundings.

Carefree it seemed he was when he was at home, but always there were other things hiding beneath that. Protective and kind, he was normally gentle in nature, unless someone was stirring him up. Those were times when a more fierce side of him showed, but for now it was the kind and gentle side that showed up.

Soon though he came upon the sight of three mares. One was dark as death itself with red swirls all over her. She had dark wings as well. The second was a painted mare, with huge ivory wings. They were both talking to a stallion each. It was the third though that caught his eyes. She was as bright as the day sky and he seemed to be drawn towards her.

Moving forwards, he nodded to the other two stallions, and looking at her, said, “Greetings. I am Wildfire.”

Three mares, three stallions. That was the scene that unfolded in front of the deep, brown eyes of the silver and white stallion. It seemed even enough, who was he to break it up? How did he even know who to approach? There were three, all different, all seeming to be welcoming enough. Cadifor recognized the one stallion as Wildfire. He had heard the Trainwreck had recently threatened his lands. Wildfire should be worried, and seek more allies. Cadifor feared little but even he would do that.

The sky-hued mare seemed to grab his attention the most, not only because of her appearance, and her alluring, light purple eyes, but because of her presence. He seemed to gravitate towards her. He lowered his head a bit, feeling as though he should be extra respectful, and approached her slowly, trying to not to interrupt any conversations that were going on. If it came to a fight, he would leave. Cadifor was not the fighting type, and if another stallion wanted a chance so badly, he would gladly step down.

"Hello, beautiful, my name is Cadifor," he said quietly, hoping he was not too forward. It took all his will power to keep from babbling on about how gorgeous she was, and how interesting she seemed. Wildfire stood near him and he nodded to the other stallion, simply being friendly and showing that he meant no harm. Wildfire was among his allies, in a round-about way, and he would not fight, especially here in front of mares that deserved much respect.

Castien

Chocolate tresses tumbled over his dappled shoulder rippling with his graceful, fluid movements. His warm orbs blinked at the sound of her musical lyrics, her mere name feeling as if it was it was the opening to his soul.
Cygnus, he decided was his new favorite word. A wry smile appeared at the thought, he was sounding like some love struck fool. Then again, maybe he was. It had been years since he had spoken to another of his kind, let alone one such as the goddess of protection.
"I am Castien," he murmured, having momentarily forgotten that he was yet to introduce himself.

Despite the other two beauties beside her, he only had eyes for her. The way her two coloured pelt glistened beside the water, the way her wings tucked tightly to her barrel. Staring at her, he felt moments passed before forcing himself to look away, not wanting to scare her off because he was being simply to odd.
Dully, he noted the three other stallions now within the clearing. Each speaking to a fae, and in a few cases speaking to more then one.
He nodded in greeting to the stags, unknowing to any of them. All of them most likely knew of each other, yet he was new in these lands and knew none other then the kings name.
Hesitating, yet desperate to know more about this beautiful goddess, he voiced his next words softly.
"Pray Cygnus, tell me more about yourself."
There was a soft plea within his words, needing to know if she was the one.

OOC: Ick...sorry guys.

Curly tresses swayed in the wind, causing the beautiful sky-hued fae to sigh with displeasure and contentment. Many were coming, from many places and times, souls that had changed for the better - ones that had not yet been reached. Each had his own beauty; whether it was simply outer or if it was inner, she still had to decide. They all seemed relatively kind, though. For her peers, she felt warmth it the pit of her stomach, but towards herself, she only felt guilt and disgust. So many had swooned over her in past years, one that had especially caught her attention as a filly, but she had always turned them away. Would she do the same with these?

One was a gray stag with thick ebony tresses that fell to his side; he seemed to possess a similar build as she. The other possessed fire upon his nape and a bright hue upon his pelt. Either of them would be perfect mates for any mare, even a goddess, but she simply didn't see how she could love either of them at this point. "Greetings," she whispered, lyrical alto tones breathy and beautiful. As the dusk grew into dawn, she no longer matched the array of hues that danced in the sky above, feeling her power dwindling as the day replaced the night in another leg of an unending cycle. The coming of the gods signified the end of this earth and the reconstruction of a new dominant life form, yet nothing had happened. Prematurely, they had been called upon to end this war like immortals with no reason should.

"I am Kamaria, goddess of the moon," she said softly, still distraught by her conflicts. Spots from his muscular bodice still rang in her mind, knowing that he was mulling over what she had told him. It was true; that porcelain fae was made for him to love. How wrong was it for her to keep him away from her when he loved her all along? It seemed to be a bad choice, and she felt a great regret, a great burden. It showed in her orbs, and she was afraid that the stag she chose would inherit her problems with the great vampire stag. Kamaria knew his pain was unbearable to look at. How did she manage?

Cygnus seemed to sense her friend's discomfort and thought to help her through this painful process. They all knew that the pain and love the vampire stag brought her was immeasurable. In return for his thousands of years waiting, she had come down to earth to tell him that it was not her that was to be his but a mortal. The nerve! Still, the beautiful painted goddess had decided to side with her immortal companion. Sympathetically, she looked back to her but quickly returned her gaze to the mortal stag that had caught her attention and held it there. That takes talent she thought to herself with a soft giggle spilling from her delighted lips. Instead of being pained by his presence, she was completely infatuated and delighted to see that someone was interested in her and brave enough to step up.

Hearing the soft delicateness of his vocals, she noticed that he was a truly gentle stag. He wished not to frighten her with his sudden attraction, yet he did not. What he hadn't realized was that this happened on a daily basis, but it would entirely cease when she found someone to love. Whether it was him or someone later to come, she didn't know. The fae of crystalline waters saw the future, yet she did not. Perhaps, wondrous things were destined for her on this earth. Perhaps, she would return to the kingdom of gods heart broken and in shreds. It was entirely based upon this day.

Normally, Cygnus wouldn't tell much about her self to any inquirer, but since she was stepping out of her comfort zone today, why not? "Well..." she paused for a moment, wondering what would be too much at this point. "As you probably know, I was created...born from other gods and goddesses. We all ruled in a wonderful kingdom of light...but as you know, trouble has been stirring on the horizon," she sighed, a bit displeased by what had been happening lately. "My past is rather complicated, going back farther than that. Perhaps my mate, whoever I may choose, will hear it eventually," she smiled easily, wondering what he would have to say. Surely, mortals had interesting lives, for they lived with the consequence of others unlike the gods.

His black tresses floated gently against his neck as he watched this mare. Kamaria, Goddess of the moon. How interesting. Cadifor silently kicked him self. A Goddess would of course never choose him, he was nothing special. Besides, she didn't seem like she was too interested in finding someone seriously. Instead, he tried to simply talk to her. Perhaps that would get him further than trying to woo her.

"Why have you come to earth?" he asked her, his large brown eyes filled with a friendly expression. For a moment, he looked at the other stallions, and the other two mares, wondering if any were meant to be together. Cadifor had two mares that he was in love with, one being his queen Kanchana, and the other being a young mare named Tiana. Cadifor had a large heart and loved all, whether they loved him in return or not.

In a way, it made him weak, while at most times it made him strong, having so many on his side was an incredible force. But this mare seemed a bit special, as his two loves were. He loved them each for their different, special attributes that made them who they were, and this mare was definitely special. The way she held her self, and especially her coat color, made her unique. Would she even talk to him?

His harks danced at the bell like tinkering of laughter, seeming amazed that it had left her shapely maw. Everything she did, seemed so...unreal. So, god like and perfect that it reminded him that she was not like him, she was an immortal and therefore a goddess.
A beautiful one at that...he could not help but add to his mental conversation.
"It sounds all very interesting," he said honestly, eyes sparked with curiosity for more, but knew better then to push it. A gentle smile found its way upon his maw, head tilting softly as he studied her once more. Every time he looked away, he noticed something more about her and could not look away. There was just something about her.....he shook his head and scolded himself firmly. He was here for love yes, not to act like some love struck colt.
Unsure what to say now, he waited for her to voice a question or two. Maybe there was something things she wanted to learn about him?

From Heaven Itself Came Three Goddesses - OPEN Empty
PostSubject: Re: From Heaven Itself Came Three Goddesses - OPEN   From Heaven Itself Came Three Goddesses - OPEN EmptyTue Feb 08 2011, 06:40

The ebony pelted stallion stood calmly, body posture not portraying the anxiety and conflict that roiled within his heart, like a tempest, like a raging sea. His sharp, ebony orbs gazed calmly at the beautiful goddess, ignoring the others surrounding them as he waited patiently for her reply. He was worried that she would find him lacking, that she would not approve of him. He wanted her to speak to him, to get to know him, just as his heart yearned to know about her. At the very first time that he ever laid his orbs on her, Akkarin had felt a jolt, like a tingle of electricity that flowed to him from her. Shocked, perturbed, he had remained still for slightly longer than normal, trying to make sense of what had just happened. Was it only him? Did she, too, feel the tingle that seemed to connect them?

Even though the longing and desire was clear in his heart, Akkarin felt uneasy. Was it too soon to give up the life of solitude and freeness that he so enjoyed? Was he ready to take on another responsibility, should she accept him? Did he want it? Was he ready? Mixed emotions flooded his heart, as he found himself being torn two separate ways. Both sides were pulling in opposite directions, one urging him to flee, the other urging him to stay. Heaving a sigh, Akkarin decided to stand his ground – and let the chips fall as they may. This might be his destiny, his fate. Then again, it might not be. He would be patient, waiting and seeing what would happen now.

But as the beautiful mare raised her delicately-shaped head gracefully and meeting his dark pools, he froze for an instant, captivated by the beauty that lay on the surface of her pelt. He nodded respectfully in reply to her words, smiling a gentle and easygoing smile as his heart sang in response to her voice. Oh, how Akkarin could listen to her speak forever, so entrancing and enticing was the sound of her pure, melodious vocals. He was captivated, hooked by her like a fish to a fishing line, but he hid the deeper emotions well, lest they scared her or she thought poorly of him for judging her so quickly based on only her looks. It was true she was beautiful, but to the ebony stallion, it mattered not even if she were missing a leg or any part of her body. It wouldn’t matter if she were a goddess or just an ordinary mortal. What he wanted, what he really wished and hoped for was someone who fit perfectly with him. Someone who he could converse easily with and share his thoughts, dreams and aspirations with. Someone who would judge him for who he was, instead of the power or station that he once held. But then again, nobody was likely to do that anymore. He was an outcast, having been exiled. Who would want to be with him?

Squaring his shoulders, he shook the gloomy thoughts away, forcing them to the back of his mind. It was not of consequence now. She would either accept him or reject him. It was that simple. Why, then, did he feel to pressured, so on edge at the mere thought of the conversation was to follow? Many had called him a deep thinker, a good planner, a leader with foresight. What he had hidden from them, however, hidden from himself, was his passionate nature. If he truly believed in something, he would not stop till he had gotten it.

Her sweet vocals once again graced his harks, and Akkarin nodded in acknowledgment of her words. Sakura. Was it not the name of the beautiful cherry blossoms? A curious look emerged in his pools as he silently contemplated her name and her rank. Goddess of death, was she? He barely heard the names and designitions of the other two mares, though he nodded at each as they were introduced. Her tone, while introducing herself, had been flat, emotionless. Was she trying to dissuade him? Did she want to be left alone? Probing orbs gazed at her, trying to discern what it was she wanted, before he quickly gave up. Her face was a blank mask, and at the two words, something in his memory stirred.

Make your face a mask,
A mask that hides your face
A face that hides the pain
A pain that eats your heart
A heart no one knows.

The words echoed dimly in his head as he remembered his training by his mentor. He had to represent the Guild, and to do so effectively, he had to mask whatever emotions he had. Be it pain, sorrow, regret or anger, no one could ever know his feelings, lest they were used against him. It was a lonely time for him, once his mentor had passed, for there was none he could speak freely to. He surveyed the goddess with the ethereal beauty, sympathy stirring in his heart. Was it the same for her? Was she always ostracised for being Goddess of death, of the underworld? Did others hate her for ‘taking’ their loved ones?

“A pleasure to meet you too,” he murmured in his velvet voice. Trying to ease the awkwardness, Akkarin tossed his head and smirked playfully. “So, Sakura, I must apologise for I’m not one for flattery or meaningless words.” He paused, cocking his head slightly as he flicked his tail. “As Goddess of death, you must have an interesting job description,” he said, smiling slightly, opening he had not offended her. “Tell me, would you recommend it to anyone?” Though his voice was joking, his eyes were deadly serious. He wished to understand this fae, the emotions that she seemed to hide or simply did not have.

She intrigued him and captivated him. What was he to her?

From Heaven Itself Came Three Goddesses - OPEN Empty
PostSubject: Re: From Heaven Itself Came Three Goddesses - OPEN   From Heaven Itself Came Three Goddesses - OPEN EmptyWed Feb 16 2011, 18:37

A wretched soul, bruised with adversity,
We bid be quiet when we hear it cry;
But were we burdened with like weight of pain,
As much or more we should ourselves complain.

Swift streams of anxiety and contemplation streamed through her, yet they belonged to the ebony one that stood in her presence. He looked as if he might keel over and die at any given second, considering how his heart was racing in what seemed like a thousand miles per hour - she would know. A charge seemed to ebb and flow between them, a constant give and take of emotions and observation. Subconsciously, were they bickering with themselves to attempt to describe the other? Even infinite knowledge didn't tell her what she wanted to know. Unfortunately, that wasn't on the job description of the death god.

Flexing her upper pillar muscles naturally, she recognized that she, too was as tense as a mortal would be. Internally, she sighed, feeling pressure relieve itself from the gallows of her soul and transcend upward to the heavens that haunted her very being. Stepping to the right slightly, the winter sun shone upon her ebony bodice a bit more, illuminating the bloody red upon her silken pelt like it was a flashlight. Sakura's perfectly tapered nostrils flared, her mind subconsciously wanting to know where this stag had been in the last few days. Wandering? Why would one who seemed to fit into a terrain in a position of power be wandering? They were not two of a kind, they could not love one another, but then, why were they doing the exact same thing before coming to this land of lies?

Dismay swept her orbs like a mother reprimanding her child, for even thinking thoughts of hopefulness like fillies did when they were awaiting summer warmth. They could all keep hoping in the future for love, for something to look forward to in life. Friends here were all too temporary, though, and who you chose as your friends helped to determine whether you burned or sang in the heavenly choirs of Eden. This place was twisted, where children lost their parents, parents lost their children, children grow up to be evil, lovers lose love, lovers lose their youth....and everything goes down from there. Whoever created this order of life must have had some major issues at the time of their decisions. What she had heard, even in the vines of immortality, was that there was only one cure for all the tragedy and chaos in this world - there was only one thing that made it worthwhile. That was love. Sakura heard it could conquer even the greatest of storms and defeat all the greatest foes that threatened your life. It gave you....what was the word - adrenaline. To be in possession of such a feeling would make one unbeatable; that was why all the evil rulers fell, eventually.

All dreams had faded since going to the heavens eternally, for there was no gumption to do anything, really. Until she came here and saw nature at work with its motivator - competition, Sakura hadn't longed for anything more than a beautiful abode in the skies, away from all the drama, all the hate. The facade of heaven had hidden her true spirit from those that might have wished to meet her on earth. One could only dream how long she would have stayed if she had found what every creature that breathed breath longed for. Was it twinkling in the grasps of her reach, or was it so much farther away now that she had come to seek it? She was pained; who would understand?

Upon hearing him speak, she concluded that he had a lovely voice, of those beautiful angels of heaven and of the tempting demons from hell. A natural vibrato seemed to waver through it for a moment, but his words seemed coated with something. What was he trying to hide? Nothing the longing of her soul said to her, and for once, she believed it.

"No words are meaningless...Akkarin," she cooed softly, light playfulness in her orbs. Knowing resided in her internal mien, knowing that he was trying to get to know her, knowing that she didn't mind it too much. "Apparently," Sakura replied almost instantly, feeling a bit uncomfortable with speaking about her 'job', as he called it, although it was more of a curse. "No. Unless you have a morbid desire to be a mass murderer, then no," she said energetically, a bit to defensively for her own taste. Sakura wouldn't wish the curse to her worst enemy, let alone recommend it to a stag she hardly knew.

He's toying with you. Why?

*

"For several reasons," the goddess of the moon replied easily. Such details weren't priorities at the moment, but since he was wondering and she could see his obvious curiosity bubbling beneath his beautiful face, she would tell him. "Well," she paused, a gentle sigh escaping her soft lips as her long, curled tresses ruffled in the sweet gales of the afternoon. "I once was young...a mortal and in love. We were perfect for each other and quickly became each other's everything...I was called to be the goddess of the moon," she said softly, dazzling orbs locked on his. This stag seemed kind enough, like she could trust him with any great secret. That she would do.

Tossing her perfect skull to clear her mind, she recalled every gruesome moment of the story, the one that inflicted all her past and present scars. Some had been erased by the gods, but the craters on the moon represented every bit of hurt their goddess possessed over the years. "His name was Ganymede. Soon after I went to the sky, he sought out a vampire and became one. He may say he's seven hundred years old, but he's not. Ganymede is nearly eight thousand years old," Kamaria said, closing her orbs as she remembered. "He would beg and plead for me to return to his gentle gaze..but I could not. It wasn't only that I had no desire to be with him...but it mostly due to the fact that he'd become cold and solitary since I'd left," she told, knowing the mortal wouldn't see her as guilty. "I tried to send him someone of his own type...but I see that it was the wrong choice now; she will never love him," Kamaria finished.

"Where do you reside?" she asked, hoping to gain a bit more information from his lips instead of reaching into her vast pool of knowledge for it. Of course, she already knew he lived in the beauteous Irish paradise of Faoi Thionchar. It was a place any mare would crave to be, just as beautiful to Eleazar, yet land was something that shallow mares based their opinions on, she believed. All land was beautiful, whether it was the scorching desert where evil made its claim or a small misty meadow where mares came to bare new life. Everything was a preference, but she had none. Her only goal: to find friendship.

*

Cygnus' painted features were the only ones that were 'lit up' from the conversation she was having. All her friends' expressions seemed to be solemn and somber as they spoke of their situations. Even though she was the 'youngest' goddess, that didn't make her any less apt to the great depressions these two were suffering from. Perhaps, the wonderful young lads that had appeared before them would help to ease their pain and help them see beauty of love. Cygnus saw endless opportunities from staying down here for a while. One was to grow as a goddess and see the world from a different perspective - from being within. The other was the make eternal friends who would never cease to exist in her heart and mind.

The fae nodded in a jocular fashion as she looked him over, wondering about his past and his life. Unlike the moon goddess, she couldn't see all - it wasn't her job to hover over the world as an onlooker. Instead, she experienced things by being told about them and seeing them with her own orbs. Surely, the two lovers huddled together by a nearby willow tree were not false, they were in love. It was impossible to tell if he was her lover yet, though, unless she actually knew something about him. Only one fact crossed her mind; he was kind. There had to be more.

"Where do you hail from? I would suppose you sub herd somewhere or own a territory..." she asked, eyes shining with pure interest. Cygnus wouldn't mind whether he was a king or not, for she wasn't power hungry like she had been as a mortal. Things could change so easily in a thousand years or so; it was remarkable. Sand seemed to lightly dust his cornets, though, so Cygnus supposed he could have come from a marvelous land with beautiful sand dunes. Perhaps she was correct, but she would have to hear it from him before she made any decisions. Was love suddenly possible?

Kamaria. He could not stop repeating that name in his head as she spoke to him. He was able to concentrate on her answer to his question, however, and it answered another question he had not yet spoken. What was she searching for? The mare had obviously been heart broken before and he wondered if she wanted to risk that with another stallion. Either way, he would not mind. It would be nice to have another mare, another friend, around his lands. It wouldn't even be a confining agreement. She would be able to come and go as she pleased.

Ganymeade. He had met that stallion once. Eight thousand years old? That was incredible. Cadifor would have never guessed. "Perhaps he chose solitude to avoid the risk of another heart break?" he suggested, a slight hint that it was possibly what he thought she was doing. But in no way was he judging her. Cadifor loved and accepted all, he just hoped she would not reject him, even in an offer of friendship.

Sighing softly, the curled tresses that laid upon her muzzle twirled energetically with the cool current of her breath. This stag was only mortal, and as such, he was prone to make assumptions based upon her attitudes and external emotions. It wasn't his fault he wasn't born a god, that he couldn't see right through her with the blink of an eye.

Aria hated to be blunt with the stag, but to be honest, she was much too tired to go on much longer. On this earth, even the gods felt fatigue; everyone needed rest except for the bloodthirsty brutes of the night. Shifting a bit, she glanced into his gray orbs, seeing confusion in a sense. Was he still unsure of what to make of her? Perhaps, he had found a disliking for her old lover before and would hold it against her. To Kamaria, though, he didn't seem like one to even hold grudges, he was so pure and kind.

"Apparently," she whispered, light lilac orbs laying low, shaded by her thick tresses. "He hides from reality and hardly opens his heart to let in friendship, let alone love," her expression was disgruntled as she spoke, hating what he had became - what he had made her. "It made me sick for years...but I've learned that fate works in mysterious ways, ones that I don't even know about," Kamaria murmured, melodically chuckling at her own words. Surely he knew what she was speaking of; he had a queen, she could tell - and a kind one at that to keep him the stag he was at that given moment.

Castien

Soft dappled curls tossed in the wind as he studied the mare with adoration. His bright orbs shining as he hung to her every word, lost within her soft, musical tones. He felt his heart skipping beats, something that hadn't happened since his first queen and family. Something he thought would never happen again. Could this be love? Love with a complete stranger? Or was it fate, pairing up two who could possibly never meet.

"I come from the Irish lands of Mahee, a small island off the borders, though I doubt it exists any more," he said quietly "I first resided on the lands of Valeska, with the ill ridden king there, but it was quickly claimed once he disappeared so I moved on with my 2 Irish brothers and claimed a land further into the desert, I dubbed it Gaineamh, after the golden sands that rest there."

His grey harks flicked, catching bits and pieces of the other conversations going on around them, but his concentration and interest was focused on the beautiful goddess before him.

OOC: sorry it is so short Phantom! Trying to get back into the rhythm of RPing XD

Bouncing curls played in the wind as it caressed her gently, releasing all suppressed feeling she may have once had. Not even she could begin to grasp the impunity she had received for being a goddess. Deep, intelligent orbs shone with carefree joy, and it occurred to her; she had never felt like this - so free from all bonds. No longer could the world beckon her; she beckoned it. As much as she believed in and had heard of the complications of fate in one's life, she never thought that life would hand her something so...beautiful. Or at least it had the possibility to be.

Why was her heart racing like this? It couldn't be a good thing to have one's heart beat so fast, it felt like it would explode! It wasn't even, the rhythm, that is. Heartbreak had been seldom for her, for love never came to her and she had never gone searching for it before. It was something the others had dabbled in more than she. As inexperienced as she was, she knew all about it...and figured that you either knew you loved them when you met them or when you lost them. This was certainly like nothing she had felt before...

Ah, so she had been correct about the sandy dunes that he hailed from. Smiling to herself, she met his gaze easily, heart thudding. "It sounds quite beautiful. I was kind of hoping you lived in the desert, for I have always loved the dunes and how the wind blows through my curls," she mused, though she continued to focus on him. Cygnus took a step in his direction, hopefulness swept across the small smile that tugged at the corner of her lips. It didn't matter why or to what extent she felt about him, but she certainly knew that not going with him was not an option at this point. Was it too soon to say she was in love? That she wanted to spend forever with him? It was so odd, how all these feelings kept piling upon her, kept building up. It was almost like she was addicted to being around him.

"Do you, sweet Castien, have anyone else staying with you?" she asked, hoping to her great creator that he had not found anyone else yet. It was a rather selfish way of thinking, but she could not even imagine the tearing sensation she would feel if she found it to be true if he longed not to allow her into his domain. Deep brown orbs searched him, wanting to travel to his lands and remain there for all eternity. Happiness seemed to be almost tangible; she could see it before her, and her happiness was Castien.

OOC: Sorry, kinda bad. Anyways, just trying to get back into rping her...

He had felt heartbreak. He had felt loss. The worst things possibly you could think of for a kind, loving and family orientated stallion had happened to the sweet brute who stood ever-so proudly before this perfect fae.

A new hope gleamed in his orb, a hope that he would have a final chance of happiness. To re-do everything he might of done wrong. After all, everybody deserved a second chance in the end.

As if the wind shifted his thicky pelt, he moved his mass closer to her slender hide as a timid nod escaped him.

"Yes," he replied softly with the hint of a warm smile "the lands are warm and filled with everything you need, I never tire of the changing landscapes...and nowhere else has ever felt so much as home as Gaineamh does now..."

The light grew in his green orbs, seeming delighted as she moved closer to him and shivered at her soft side as he reached to nudged it gently.
"No," he replied after a moment, downcast eyes lifting to meet hers, a smile once more firmly in place "no, no one at all..."

He searched her beautiful features before mumuring something he hoped wouldn't break his chances.

"I hoped you would be my first....and last."

PostSubject: Re: From Heaven Itself Came Three Goddesses - OPEN   From Heaven Itself Came Three Goddesses - OPEN EmptyWed Feb 15 2012, 15:49

It was as if the only prominent words said in her existence were given to him, for her life was no longer a hollow tomb when she heard his voice. Life filled blossoms twined around her heart seemed to bloom and chase the gloom that had settled at the depths of her soul. A beautiful rose emerged where callous ground that endured hail like none had seen before. Rough spots had become soft in her soul, becoming young as the hands of the clock seemed to unveil the child within that pleaded to be set free.

Hope for freedom had bound itself on the wind, the remembrance of blood sprinkling like a fountain from the carcasses of those who once held breath ceasing in her mind. All fell silent but the moment, in all its serenity and final peace. Nothing mattered now but what was before them and what the future would bring. No one truly knew whether it would be prosperous or a failure, but she was assured that whether the world fell to darkness or rose to light, she wanted to spend every waking moment with him. Feeling the embrace of his love as the morning sunlight glistened upon the oasis upon the grainy sands. Watching the twinkling stars above as she counted them, wishing her beauty could match their stunning hues.

A deep breath she drew, meeting his ivy orbs as they gazed at her timidly. Cygnus felt the odd sensation too - like she was on fire, lit by a passionate flame that carried her to a place she had never been before. It was a place where sand dunes caressed the plain, where the oasis was so clear the you could see yourself in its shadows. It was where she wanted to be, where she belonged. Wasn't it odd how one could tell where exactly they belonged to be?

Love was deaf, though. You couldn't just tell someone you loved them, you had to show it over time. She wasn't sure if it was love...or simply the need to be around someone she rather liked. But it was surely different, and she was more sure than heaven and earth that she wanted to be with this wonderful, kind, gracious stag.

"Dear Castien....I would want nothing else but to be at your side for all eternity," she whispered, dark eyes terrified for once at the majesty of love.

Akkarin tilted his head, staring at the Goddess of Death in a slightly puzzled manner. Her morbid words were at odds to what he had heard about the Goddess in his old lands. There, she was greatly respected, for his was a group of Warriors and Healers, and they all respected it when she came a-calling. He bowed his head lightly to her, his horn shimmering with a dark fire.

“Perhaps your perceptions are mistaken, my Lady,” he mused, his dark eyes absurdly gentle. “It is no curse, but a great gift and an honour. To be chosen…” he sighed, a sound full of reverence. “’Tis not murder, not when it is their time to die. Whether it is you who calls, or another being, their lives would already have been forfeit. Or so we believe,” he a$ded after a thoughtful pause, eyes lingering on her for a longer moment then necessary, before looking away.

He shifted from hoof to hoof, before asking curiously, “Have you been here long? Why did you and your Sisters wish to enter the Mortal plane?” Akkarin grimaced suddenly, hurrying to add, “Of course, if it’s too personal, you need not answer.”

Blinking, the stallion tightened his mind shields, glaring darkly at a group of colts staring a short distance away, staring at the group. He shuddered at their thoughts, carefully, letting loose a tendril of his power to chase them away.

Nothing seemed to matter but the state of affairs that the world had to endure, for to be selfless was the only way to survive in this wasteland of war and famine. It was not her choice to be who she was, but it was her calling - someone had to do it. Through orbs of crimson, she saw the bloodshed of the world and the suffering that was alleviated with every death. They looked so peaceful at rest, like the burdens of their previous lives had been pushed off of their shoulders. Death was not beautiful, and few knew the pain that one experienced as they gasped for their last breath.

"Thank you for your kind words, they mean much to me," she said softly, the swirls that laid upon her thin bodice sparkling with the radiance of her smiles. Life was not as easy as he made it seem, for it was no honor on her behalf to lead souls to the underworld or above. What a shame she had brought to herds with the passing of their leaders, with the passing of their children. But they did not see what laid ahead. "There is much that most don't understand," she said, making a very general statement.

Sakura bobbed her skull easily up and down at his question. Of course, there was a reason for their absurd arrival to the earth - they had seen much more beautiful planets in the solar system...but there was a mission to be completed here. "It is quite a dangerous terrain to live upon...which is why we call it our duty to protect it," she answered. "It is not by far that we think of earth's beauty, but we feel something special about it," she said, looking down to the ground and smiling shyly a bit. This was the most that Sakura had spoken to anyone in a while, and to be here and in contacted with someone she had never met before....talking to them. Well, it was spectacular.

Even her goddess sisters stared upon her with awe as her radiant vocals carried on the conversation brightly. Cygnus gave Akkarin an endearing look, knowing that Sakura finding love could be the best thing that had happened to them...for she had found her own love in Castien.

Akkarin bowed his head, suddenly feeling inexplicably abashed at her lyrical voice. Flattening his ears slightly, the dark stallion adopted a gentle, genuine smile at her words, bowing his head lightly. She didn’t believe him that he could tell. Perhaps it was to do with their different cultures, different mindsets. There was no shame in doing the job one was meant to do – especially if they did it well. No matter how degrading, how lowly a job might seem, it was sure to have a purpose.

“Not at all, m’lady,” Akkarin laughed, his tenor voice lilting slightly in laughter. “Indeed. That’s why we learn, do we not?”

He found himself entranced with the fae’s beauty, the swirls upon her flanks merely adding on to her radiance. She was truly beautiful – both inside and out.

Akkarin tilted his head, frowning. “You have come to protect Earth? Is there going to be some sort of plague or great war soon?” He blinked, tossing his forelock out of his eyes, dark horn gleaming like onyx stones under sunlight. “Special…” Akkarin trailed off, looking around him. The soft grass beneath his hooves, the soft chatter of unseen horses and other woodland creatures, the cheerful gurgling of the stream not so far away… The very essence of life that seeed through the Earth’s crust.

“Indeed,” he murmured softly, a smile gracing his aristocratic features. “Special it is.” His eyes were dark and soft and very warm looked at Sakura, harks pointed forward at his gave her his full attention.

“Will all of you be staying for long?”

From Heaven Itself Came Three Goddesses - OPEN Empty

Trials and struggles that mother earth constantly plagued them humbled the soul, for the thought of godly no longer touched her soul. Mortality was not weakness, but the statement that one must forever feel that rays of sunlight against their pelt and the bashing of winds of sorrow and deceit was truly weakening. It would break down the mountains and make them crumble under the drive of immortality, for one's soul was never glad and it always sobbed for what it should cherish. Sometimes she wish the reaper would visit her in the night and tell her that he had come for her soul, yet who would mourn for the dead if that happened?

"Yes," she said with breath in her vocals. "Many think it is so wrong to make mistakes, that life must exist in perfection, but the only way to live is to be wrong. Corus was wrong, as was Frenzy and those before him yet they had the choice to right their wrongs...if they so chose to," she said, gales touching her features, eyes worn over the years to show wisdom and degraded spirit. Mortals hardly understood the meaning of life, but this one seemed to be more versed with intelligence than ones she had encountered in her travels earlier in the day.

Sakura shook her skull easily, slowly, dismissing the idea that the earth would face a plague. "No, I only wish to protect her from herself," she said quietly. So much had occurred in the past decades and centuries...that is was unbelievable. From mankind to their kind, putrid behavior had erupted.

"Only a lifetime, which, to gods is like a day and a night," she said, looking over to the horizon. "Then I will never return to this place after my time has ended, and I shall join those that lived with me on earth...in the glorious fields," she said, thinking of her many trips to the fields of beauty. For once, there had been only happiness.

Castien's heart seemed to race with her every movement, a sense of calm completing him at the sweetness of her scent as he slowly met her wide, worried eyes and instantly set himself the task of settling her worried mind.

"My dear Cygnus," he cooed in the Irish tones, nose gently rubbing against her shoulder in a soothing fashion "I thank you for the chance to make you my queen. I hope I can do well by you."

OOC: totally cannot remember this thread Razz Ah well, here it goes!....anyways, move on now? To his lands?
