A mate for life, you'll find in me [saphira]

A gorgeous chestnut mare with black swirl like markings on her head, covering from under her eyes to her cheeks moved through the river glades.. Also from her nostrils to almost her eyes. The upper half of one of her front legs is covered in short white and black swirls. the other foreleg from shoulder to knee has a mixture of short and long curly white and black markings on it.
One hindleg from hindquarters to hoof is covered in swirling black and white markings. The other back leg has a mixture of straight and swirling black and white markings upon it.
Her eyes are an interesting almost acidic green. Her ram like horns and hooves are a deep earthy brown.

Some stared at her, because she had never been seen before, but that was only something she knew herself. The icy tundra had been where she entered Freedoms Palace from, but that was the way she was. She had liked the ice, but unlike the others of her kind, she was not one for such a place.

As she moved she sang a song, a song that only one stallion would hear and come to her because of. Like the penguin birds, every Solven had a song that would only ever attract one mate.


She sighed as she moved, knowing that at the moment, there was no one who was listening to her. She had sung this song too many times, too many times un noticed. It sucked for her, but she knew what she was doing at the moment. Usually another Solven would answer, but the song that the only other one in Freedoms Palace had did not work for her.


That was the part of the song that she mainly liked, it was the funnest bit for her to sing. yet still not stallion looked at her twice, at least,none of them answered her with a song of their own.


Sometimes she wished that this would be a hell of a lot easier, for them to do. But at the moment someone seemed be eluding her. Would she send another year alone?


now as she began her last set of words, she seemed exasperated.

She'd heard the song coming from another's voice, and she knew that at last she had found the one that was for her. Too many years had she, the princess of the Solven run in solitude, unable to find one like her. Now though, she turned to look at the one who entered the glade, and started to sing. She blinked.

He was nothing too spectacular to look at, but soon she seemed to notice the markings that adorned him. The words from his mouth though seemed to be a lure to her, and she could not move for a few seconds before she knew what she had to do.



She could not believe that he was finally here, the one that she was meant for. That was something that really elated her at the moment. There was nothing that could have been more important for her at the moment. One more verse she sang, and if he was the one for her, he would answer with the verse of her song after this second one. To which she would reply with one of his own


now she looked at him expectantly. She moved carefully around him, checking him out eagerly. Who was he?

She knew as he sang that something was certainly tying them together. Things that made him all the more interesting to her. He was certainly handsome, and she definately liked him now.


She knew that one word in particular she emphasised, but it was as if she wanted him to know who she really was. And it was true, she was a princess, to a certain extent. That was something that made her a little more inmportant than him, but she did not let that go to her head.

No there was no one as caring as she was. She knew what was happening, she had been well trained.

As the last note drifted away on a stray breeze, all was silent, and a certain sense of expectation and tension weighed heavily in the air. Troy stared intently at the gorgeous mare standing in front of him, his eyes shining and tender, amazed, even.

Stepping forward quietly, he bowed his head solemnly, before stepping back and surveying her with bright eyes. "M'lady," he murmured, voice smooth as velvet, lilting, seductive to her ears. So long he had waited... So far he had searched...

"I am called Troy. May I know the name so my princess?"

She smiled as she saw him watching her with the same expression on his face as she knew was on hers. They both knew that they were meant to be with each other, else they would not have listened to each other's songs, would they?

"Airbourne Magic, I am known as," she replied, smiling at him once more. She knew that this was going to take her places that she had only dreamed of for so long. She was pleased though that he had finally come to her. "You took your time coming to me."

"Pleasure," Troy murmured, inclining his head regally, as his dark eyes swept across hers and held them. "As you took your time," he laughed easily, moving cautiously closer to her.

"Where did you live before? Why did you come here?" Troy asked curiously, wondering if it were fate that led them together or it was just a simple coincidence.

"I have been roaming the lands of ice, for it is there that I feel at home the most, as our kind were originally from such a place. It is a place where things never get too hot, nor too cold for our kind. I have already spoken to the kind there, Eispferdkonig and he has welcomed us all thre. After all, his type is what we were becoming not so long ago. There are few Solven left in the world now. Most have evolved into being Eispferd or Ice horses."

She smiled at him. "What do you say to that? I cam here because I felt that the one I sought would be ehre, and what do you know, you were here."
