| The young blue roan filly moved through the woods uncertainly, not sure if this was the place she was meant to be. She was old enough to eat grass, and she constantly did. She whinnied quietly, standing at just under twelve hands at the moment, though she knew she would be big. Her mother had neglected to name her, she had nursed her but afterwards, had told her to find her father and live with him.
Chisel had been her mother, and the beginning of bright red flames were showing on her neck and tail. She sighed, then called out. "Faa...ntasma?"

| Rolling hills folded under strong pillars as massive wings expanded to envelope the terrain upon which he glided upon. Orbs of crystalline blue shone brightly down upon what was his, and the pointed horn glowed with prosperity of the lands. Glimmering ebony sparkled upon the wind as he glided down, soaring over the valley that he called home. Over mountains and plains and the deep depths of the valley he soared over and wished his herd farewell for a few hours, for he sensed a presence in his lands. One of his children, coming to see him. It was definitely of his blood, and it was not strong.
"Greetings," said the king, smiling slightly with a light aura circling around his masculine form as he tucked his wings in gently to his side. "I am Fantasma, king of this land," Fantasma replied, hoping already that she enjoyed her stay. One of the best things about this terrain in the Secret Valley was that everyone was welcoming, and the herd of the ebony alicorn was quite hospitable to say the least. "What is your name, young miss?" he asked, having a feeling that she was one of his long lost daughters that he rarely saw...or never had before.

| She blinked as a huge black horse came gliding down towards her, instantly scared for a few moments before hearing his name. She peered up at him in surprise, this was her father before her? "I do not have one, Fantasma. My mother, Chisel refused to give me a name, she seemed to be... disgusted by me for some reaason." She sighed. "She told me to seek you out." The young filly sighed. "She only kept me around long enough that i would not need her any more." | |

| Before the massive ebony stag spoke, he sensed fear upon her expression. Fantasma didn't blame her though, for she was just a filly, and he, well, he was no pony. Instantly, his heart opened up to her, and he knew that she would be a welcome addition to his land. There were plenty of others she could make friends with, like his daughter Fidelia.
"I am very sorry to hear that, dear," he looked down, disgusted that the wench Chisel wouldn't even name her little daughter. "Well, we have to have something to call you, don't we?" he pondered the filly for a moment. Asha he thought in his mind. Yes, that would be her name. "Do you like the name Asha? I think it is very beautiful and fits you. It means hope in Sanskrit," said the ebony alicorn. It usually wasn't his job to name the youths, but it seemed to fit her, somehow.

| She nodded eagferly. "Asha? I like it." She smiled at him. This was certainly starting to feel more like home at the moment. Every minute she spent with him she felt safer, happier. "Thank you." | |

| Fantasma smiled as his daughter approved of her name, but there were a few horses she needed to meet - to know who they were. Nodding, he began to tread closer to the herd, motioning for his daughter to follow them. Clambering up a steep winding natural staircase, he came to what he called the grazing plain, where the foals romped in a carefree fashion and everyone was safe. No evil could find them, and it was difficult for predators to live at such high altitudes.
"There are some that I want you to meet," he said, smiling slightly. "That is Omeya, my queen and her new colt that I have not learned the name of..he was forced upon her," he said, motioning to them with a nod. "Over there is Freier Geist and her filly Fidelia. You should meet them later. I have a feeling you would get along well with her daughter. She is one of the herd mares," he said, walking past the brown beauty with a 'hello' cast in her direction. "That is Chiquitita and Nightshade, two other herd mares," he said, glad to see them in the lands today. "Those are the betas over there: Hemlock and Melodia. You may speak to them for they are very kind," he said. There was one other horse he would introduce. "That is Staramboli. He is living in my land under my rule. Do not speak to him, for I fear he may be evil," he said, shaking his skull as he looked down to her.

| "Oh come on, Fantasma," Staramboli laughed. "Like I'd try anything." He snorted in amusement.
Asha followed him, not even glancing once at the chestnut stallion. She looked meekly at all of the others, somewhat frightened. She stayed very close to her father for the moment, quite afraid. They were all so big.
Frier Geist smiled. "Morning, Fantasma," she replied. her daughter looked curiously at Asha.

| In his majesty, he snorted as he passed by the horrid looking creature - he wasn't to be trusted, no matter how friendly his words were. News traveled quickly throughout the terrain, and rarely did his sources lie. With a gentle look back to his daughter, he traveled on, past his queen, who always seemed to be supportive of his many ventures.
"Good morning dear," he smiled, nuzzling her shiny pelt with his soft nose. Lightly, his horn brushed against her nape, and he looked down to his little daughter. Surely, they would become the best of friends. "This is Asha, one of my daughters. I believe she will be residing here, if she has no objections to that," he said, looking down questioningly to the little one. Fantasma would never force a someone to stay in his lands, for they held no prisoners of war or hostages. It was not what he nor the land itself willed.

| "Who was her mother?" Frier asked curiously. She smiled at Asha though. She was only curious and that was something that was normal for her. She knew her time was coming to an end, and that saddened her slightly. But it was someything that happened to all horses, no matter who they were. Well besides Thowra who was rumored to be immortal now. She could hardly believe that. | |

| Fantasma looked down to his daughter, worry creasing his bright orbs as he thought of what the past had brought them. "Chisel, one of Exile's fiends," said the stag, looking to his dear fae lovingly. "She is no more though," said he, nodding his noble skull as he spoke. Fantasma could hardly believe how the days passed and nights seemed to become longer as time crept along. No longer was he the young stag that had conquered this land, the one who had try to snake away Faoi Thionchar. He laughed to himself slightly, for he knew still that it was not his dying day nor would the battle be. | |
