| The gentle brown eyes turned to his son as they left the warmth of the cave, after a warning growl escaped him as he snapped at his mother.
"Zaor," he said firmly "we are going for a wander."
He led the way, all the grace of a real-born wolf and came to the edge of the lands.
"You are my son," he whispered, "and you shall always be. But your mother and I fear that their is a darkness in your soul, one that we can not heal with love and kindess."
He tilted his golden head and studied the oddly marked child.
"You will make the choice now," he continued with a sigh "you will leave and make your own way, or you can stay here...live by our rules and be apart of our family. Either way, my son, I will still love you."

| "Bah yet you tell me I can leave? That makes me not part of the family if you don't really think I fit in here." Zaor laughed. "I think I'll take my chances elsewhere." He smirked. "You're all weak. Not to mention you're not even a wolf, Father."
The white and green poison wolf pup laughed. He'd have nothing to do with his mother or this rediculous excuse of a father. | |

| The golden brute tilted his head, eyes landing upon the marked pup with a wandering sadness clear in his eyes.
"Very well my son," he whispered, eyes lifting and scanning the landscape that opened out to other valleys "you may leave. I hope that one day you will see your mistakes and come and find me, for I shall forgive you."
He looked at the pup once more "and I am everything I have ever wanted to be. Now leave!"
He turned, padded a small distance to settle and wait for the pup to leave the safety of his birth home.

| Zaor snorted, growled once and then headed off on his own. He knew where he wanted to go, but where to find him? He guessed that he would just have to spend time searching. He’d defend himself in the meantime and hopefully, he might find the one that he truly took after. The other father they all supposedly had.
Now that was a wolf worth meeting. Agorae was his father, but only a half father. He didn’t care about that non wolf father. He wanted the true wolf that sprang to life in his head. Something in him told him to seek out the poison wolf called Soul Render. Now that was a name worthy to be his father!
The ones he left he wouldn’t give another thought.
Eletha whined. She wondered where her daddy had gone. She already missed him.

| The alpha dog watched carefully, taking a deep breath of relief as the pup left without a issue. Though he doubted it would be the last he saw of him.
With a final last glance, he spun and trotted back to the warm den and his children.
"Eletha," he whispered softly with a smile, nuzzling her head and lowering himself down beside his loving daughter and sent Gem a look, knowing that Zaor was gone "stop whining my dear, I am home."

| Gem sighed, resting her head on the ground and closing her eyes. She was tired, too tired at the moment from having to get all these pups out. Later she would wake up, but now, all she needed was sleep. She knew she would not get all that much with all the pups.
Eletha snuggled into her father’s side, glad that he was back. She was happiest around him, not around the others.

Agorae chuckled softly to himself, licking her forehead gently as she nestled deeper into his warm side.
"Sleep my loves," he cooed to all those in the den "I will keep you safe."
