Two she wolves padded into the bush, knowing that they would have to be having their pups now. This litter was to be raised in the Rim of Heaven. That was where they had decided upon to be their home, for this litter, at least. It was not something that there had been all that much to decide about though, which was a good thing.

Both of them knew that the brutes responsible for their pups would not be met by the youngsters. No, there was a reason that the two females wanted pups. They wanted to ensure that when the time came, they would be able to defeat a certain poison wolf in the lands. For they knew that soon, Soul Render would come to try and take the Rim of Heaven from them.

They stayed close together, only a few meters apart from each other as they got into the arduois job of getting their pups out.


For the golden she wolf, who had been forced by Draighien, her first to be born was a female pup, so like her father in appearance, but the little one was not moving. It was a saddening thing, but carefully, Le Soliel moved the dead pup away from her before getting started on the next one.

The second was also female, only like herself in appearance except lo and behold, she had no tail? What on earth had happened there? She seemed healthy though and that was enough for her mother. “Soliloquoy.” She said gently.

The third born was a still born male, and after three not pups, you'd wonder why she would bother about the others she knew was in her, right?

The fourth to be born was one that she was very pleased with. It was a little black pup, but the little pup's underbelly was iridescent gold! “Ambrosia,” she said softly, moving the pup to place her beside Soililoquoy.

The fifth was to be identical to the fourth, a little female. She easily called her Auroele as soon as she met her daughter. Two healthy pups.

The sixth was a white male, who seemed healthy. “Arsenal,” she said softly, then moved him over to his sisters.

Following him were two more white males, Jaegar and Nimrod. Plus the last three which were a bright earthy green, Maquarie, Cataclysm and Scylla


Over where Lune was, she had also been busy at work while her sister had been. The first of her pups to appear was a little female, alike to its father, whom she named Ilana.

The second was also female, and just like herself. This one was called Shikari.

Then came a male, completely black in colour, who she called Ladarius.

The next was female, she had Lune's markings, on an almost purple black body. This was Mulatto.

Anacasis came next, a little blue pup with odd purple crosses about her eyes, and on her shoulders.

Hermione was golden like her aunt, Le Soliel.

Kristen, the last female in the group, was completely white again.

The youngest of the pups though was was Kilkenny, a direct replica of Rochelle, minus the scars.

She smiled at Solilioquoy gently, then shifted her closer to her side as well as the other pups that had survived being born. She could see that her sister had a few with her as well, and that pleased her. She knew though that there were some of them here that would have their father's strengths, and others who would learn to use the sun's heat and strength for themselves. She would train them herself.

"Children, see the big blue wolf over there?" she said, indicating Lune. "the pups with her are your cousins, for we are sisters. You'll all get to play together, when we get home to our homelands."
