| I went looking for God, But I found you instead, Bad luck or destiny, You decide.
Buried in the muck, The soot of the city, Sorrow for an appetite, devil on your left shoulder, Angel on your right. A tiny black and white three year old stallion moved thorough the brush, often having to jump over tree stumps for his height was too little to step over them as others did. Even the great wolves of the forest seemed to be giants to him, and he knew not what he was doing here. All he knew was that he had to get away from the men, seeing as he knew he would have died in their company. His ribs were viisible, and he was a sorry sight for a stallion. No one could possibly love him as small and beautiful as his appreance was. mares looked at him at first but upon noticing his ribs, they moved away quickly, not wanting to be seen near him. You with your thorny rhymes, and tragic, midnight melodies.
My heart never tried, to Commit suicide before.

| Reimse Beag Made a wrong turn Once or twice Dug my way out Blood and fire
Mistaken, Misplaced Misunderstood Miss 'No way, it's all good' It didn't slow me down
Was it impossible? They would have honestly stated their opinions as such, but even the ones who claim their intelligence so prominently fall to their knees in the wake of a discussion. To state it otherwise, they had to either be mistaken or lying. The second wouldn't be much of a surprise, seeing as life itself was an illusion to the one living in it. So many things affected what made life worth living and what made it worth ridding yourself of the world once and for all.
Well, to start - mother and father got on her nerves a great deal. Their constant bickering could drive the most sincere angel to insanity, within a week's passing, she supposed. It was hard to say, seeing as they could convince the devil out of killing if they had so pleased to do. Honestly, her respect for them had been deteriorating so much that she knew she wouldn't miss them now. It was time to build a life of her own out of the shreds that they had left, if such a thing was even possible. Wasn't it time to discontinue her childish ways and become the individual she had always dreamed of being?
Everyone had hopes and dreams, that didn't change. Hers was basically to avoid all contact and stay as far away from others as it was humanly possible to do. Often, Reimse would automatically cringe away from others that would pursue her company, especially stags. Had they not the slightest clue how they wore away at her nerves? They seemed to get the slightest clue when the small yet mighty monster was standing above them, beating their eyelids in with crushing effort. It was amazing...scary.
But, the reason for coming to this place of utter disgust was not to find love, in exact, but to find the one that was similar to her. Visions had told of his arrival here, and the wind sent her images of what his appearance would be. Handsome. Reimse smiled a daunting grin as she tread on, chills running down her spine at the ebony figure that had appeared in her dreams. Ivory cast over his form in that exact way a cloud cast over a bright blue sky of the summertime. It was quite lovely, how he looked. But looks were not what interested her, nor was his height...yet it would be a plus to meet one that was alike to her in more than one way.
Reimse clambered up into a small wood, stopping at a river to peer over it, her tiny bodice easily hidden behind the tall reeds. As she dipped her maw into the water to sip, she looked at her reflection just to see that his was on the other side of the river. Finally. Silver tassels flying in the gales, she bounced along at a slow lope to where he was. Just as she saw him before. What would he think of the bay roan fae upon which sunlight cascaded down upon?
"Who are you?" Reimse asked bluntly, liquid brown orbs locked on his in a menacing sort of fashion as she probed him from the slightest of reaction.
Pretty, pretty please If you ever, ever feel Like you're less than, Less than perfect
Pretty pretty please If you ever, ever feel Like you're nothing You are perfect To me.

| Suicide was such a pretty word. Looking at the stream nearby, and knowing he could swim, it seemed like a good idea at the moment to just end his suffering. He was seriously considering it, when he heard someone else coming towards him. He glanced up for a moment at the words, but then looked back at his hooves. He knew he was a cery submissive creature, and she was taller than him by a whole hand.
"Fortuna," he replied in that same dead sounding voice that he always used. There was nothing fortunistic about him, well that he believed anyway. He did not look at her, she was stronger than him and he knew it.

| Reimse intentionally kept her eyes glued to the rocky earth, not wanting them to peer over his bodice for a moment. Not even a glance into his soulless pools of light could not even cure herself of the path ahead, they could not erase the scars that life had burned into her sides. Many scars had silenced the pain of one or two new ones though. Life flowed like a dead river through her veins.
We are one words from her mother came to her suddenly, leaving her breathless. Reimse had never believed these words, for none would love someone so small and futile as her. Even though she was an entire hand greater in height, she was no more stronger in physique than a field mouse. Reimse's short, bony pillars stood completely still, not even swaying in the wind like a weaker creature would. Instead, she focused her energy to this, wondering if it was a cruel joke made by their creator to allow them to meet.
As if she could see him through, she stepped to his side swiftly, standing there for a moment before going back to her initial spot. Examining. That's what she was doing. "Don't do it. I've thought about it too many times, but it never works. Someone always seems to be 'there'. Anyways, they do say - What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, but I never believed it," she darted with her melodic vocals, her morbid sense of humor kicking in as she spoke easily. Reimse was beautiful, but she was dangerous in different ways than anyone would expect.
"Guess you didn't notice we are...similar...did you?" she asked, intelligent brown orbs laying on him, expecting him to pick up on the smallest of details. "We're different..." Reimse whispered, a deep darkness to her sound.
