| He burst into the lands, knowing that there were some things that needed to be made loud and clear now. This was his homeland now, and it would no longer be known as Red Sun, but as something else. The land seemed to welcome his dark aura as he strode through the vibrant bloody sand. “Therthis! Take your herd and leave! By the right of a won sneak you and your herd will leave, all except for Scar and Bambala Cybel! This is no longer your peaceful desert of Red Sun but a new land, called Hölle auf Erde. Challenge me, and I will kill you!”
He slammed his hooves down on the ground, and even as far away as she was, Volo felt the tremour. Darkness had come to her homeland. “Come on Therthis, let's all get out of here. You don't want to fight with him, he is more powerful than blade, exile, corus and hades combined.”

| The deep red fae froze, terror and understanding clear within her orbs. Her head snapped around, looking desparetly for her young son and for Oskana. She had to take him! Save him from the fate which awaited her. She could fight it, but if he was here...she knew she would do anything to save her final memories of Xan. "Oskana. Volo." she called as loud as she dared, hoping that the fae's would hear. "Atanas!" Her orbs landed upon her ebony son, taking in the green orbs and deep coloured coat. He was just like his father in every way. "Run my son," she urged "run until you find Oskana and Oskamani, or Volo! Don't come back!" The colt tried to protest, his mothers words scaring him. But she wouldn't back down, pushing him further and further from her. "Go!" she cried one last time, a tear tumbling over her soft cheeks as her body trembled of the thought of what was happening. "Stay safe.." she whimpered, watching the bolting young figure disappear, hoping he would be alright.
Forcing herself to stop trembling and blinking away the tears, refusing to allow more to escape. While her son was still alive, the land could not belong fully to the stallion. It belonged to the blood of Xan and though him, Atanas. One day he would return and reclaim his title. She just knew he was. Turning, knowing her fate, she walked blindly and without emotion towards the stallion who had just destroyed her life. He would get nothing from her, nothing that he wanted any way. She would never betray Xan that way, or at least his memory. She halted before him, all the hatred she felt towards this stallion showing within her normally loving orbs. She hated him, and she didn't even know his name. "Leave!" she spat, in a last attempt to get her home back.
He could harm her, force her to do something. But he would never beat her, not until the final beating of her slowly dying heart.

| He saw the mongrel galloping away from the old queen and soaring down, he grabbed him easily in his powerful jaw from the ground. Once he dropped the colt, kicking him over. "Where you think you're going, mongrel?" he sneered. "Nowhere, would be the right answer, mutt."
Catchign him again with his jaws, he flew towards Bambala. "Why bother trying save your own son. Foolish mare, in comparison to a god like me.” he snorted. “I think not, mortal. This land is mine now. It calls to me, can't you feel it, or are your worthless blooded senses too weak to feel the power in Hölle auf Erde?”
he laughed darkly. “You think you can make me leave? When I could snap your neck only too easily?” he chuckled. “you and your foal shall be going no where. Nor shall that lovely mare, Scar. At least you'll have one friend.”

| The eyes landed upon her limp son, the fire still burning with her orbs as she placed herself over him, knowing she would rather die then allow harm to come to him. "Don't you harm her!" she snapped at the mention of Scar. The poor young fae had, had a hard enough life as it was. She didn't need this idiot making it harder. "And don't you dare!" she spat "touch my son."
The young queen quietened for a moment, knowing she was all that was left. But she would free herself. She would! If it was the last thing she ever did. "Why do you come here anyway?" she snapped "haven't we had enough heartache without you appearing?"

| Sands of burnt hell flew up behind the pure ivory pillars as she began to gallop across the treacherous countryside. Hating the queen with a passion, she didn't bother to stop except to glare at the bitch as she went on. Her curly, flowing tassels flew beside her as she went, strides extended all the way so that it seemed like she was flying. Mist from the clouds surrounded her so that no one could see the feral beauty that was running away from her past, running away from even the urge to hiss something nasty at the one who held her position. Kicking out, she made sure to fling sand at the queen as she went by. "I've always hated you," she whispered under her breath, anger showing clearly on her hidden features.
Finally, when she was out of the land, she checked to see that everyone else had fled along with her. "Volo...." she whispered, worry splattered across her features as she unveiled herself. "What are we going to do?" asked the small ivory fae. Things had happened before to the lands, like the loss of their best and true queen once and the loss of their stupid king, but this was much worse. Now, darkness was attracted to their weakness, and it would stop at nothing to make them bow down. There was someone that wouldn't.
"Oh no!" she gasped, looking around frantically for the sign of the young hellion mare. "Masquerade isn't here! She's Exile's daughter...but the complete opposite of him - with an attitude to do justice," she whispered solemnly to Volo. Cloudy knew the young mare's attitude; she would challenge the new 'king' for all he was worth even though she was nothing more than a yearling. Masca was strong, stronger than most adult hellions were, but even she should know that she was no match for a god. Cloudy feared for her safety and her life. Therthis would hate for something to happen to a daughter he considered to be his own.
Masquerade heard the battle call, one that reminded her of her bloodlines a bit too much. A growl rose deep within the young mare's throat as she screamed her own. This would be no war, this would be no battle, for she would win. Hatred welled deep within her soul as she flew forth on the wings of an inferno to the site. Masca's flames were so hot that they nearly melted the sand with their ferocity and heat. Grasses caught aflame as she came to the battle site, tears welling in her orange orbs. Her harks sharply pinned themselves to the side of her skull as she charged on. Masca saw that he was trying to keep her friends captive. He would never get away with this!
The filly galloped on, slamming into him with all of her brute force, hoping to knock him some. She was gigantic for her age and would mature to be just as tall as him. "Get away from them!!" she screamed, kicking out at the large ebony form. Masca was not only the daughter of Exile, she was an excellent fighter now that she had been conditioned. Perhaps, she would eventually spy for him, but she only would so she would be able to stay with her friends, the queen and her son. Masca cared for them and would protect them at all costs. "Get away from him," she demanded, jumping in front of Atanas. "Get outta here, Atanas. I'll meet up with you after I take care of this stupid crazy bitch of a stallion," she said, challenging him with all her power.
Flames welled up around the purebred hellion, the rage of her mother and father before her showing directly. "I am Masquerade, daughter of Exile and Kablina, aka, your worst nightmare," she smirked, pawing the ground with her flaming daggers. "I'm not afraid of you, or Frenzy, or whatever else you try to ally with. I'm better. I'm nephilim," she murmured, recalling the night and laughing with sadistic glory. Masca was outspoken and rude, but she played on the side of good. Satan was going down - maybe not today, but he was.

| Satan seemed to shake with laughter when Masquerade turned up and told him to get away from them. “I think not. Be careful who you threaten, I created your kind, and I doubt you want to lose the strength you have because of your hellion parents.” He knew only too well that she was not on the right side of things. “I gave you a chance to leave this land, and I suggest you go, filly.” it was clear that he was not going to bargain with one as young as her. He kicked out at her, knowing she would not be able to dodge. “Syria, want to teach her a lesson?”
Volo sighed. “I'll go and see if I can spot her,” she said. Her wings flared out, knowing that she would not be seen. “After all, my name means flight.” She chuckled. “Back soon.” Leaping into the air, she started to soar across her beloved home. Eventually she saw what was going on, and headed back in the direction that she had come. Cloudy was counting on her at the moment. Snorting, she landed, folding her wings quickly. “She found the devil, he's not listening to her though.” She sighed. “That'll mean a fight, I guess.”

| Masca stood her ground and defiantly blew her forelock out of her features. Pinning her harks, she reared up, threatening him with her massive bodice. "Shut up, bastard!" she screamed, running at him again just as he kicked out. Quickly she dodged to the side, bucking and intersecting his kick by one of her own. Their daggers collided in what was a painless strike for both of them. Laughing, she stood before him again, her orbs aged by preparation for battle. Before her mother had died, she had taught her how to fight anyone, anytime. She wasn't very good at attacking, but she would try to defend herself against him.
"I'm not going anywhere. I want to stay here with my friends," she demanded. "Why don't you fight me instead, or are you afraid?" the big mouthed filly fired off. Masca grinned wildly as he stood there and saw the ivory pegasus mare up above. Easily, she signaled that she was staying and to go on without her. "I suggest you don't let me teach your hag a lesson. I'd hate to embarrass her in front of you," she hissed, a smug look splattered upon her features. Masca was being stupid and childish, but she wasn't going to stand for her homeland to be taken over by some jerk. He was going to offer her something to either get her on his side temporarily, or he would leave and give her what rightfully belonged to the queen and her foal.
Cloudy sighed as she watched Volo fly over the sand dunes to relay information to and fro. The moments passed - they seemed like hours before the ivory mare came back over the ridge of dunes. Cloudy hoped she knew what was going on with her dearest Masca. Nothing bad could happen to her! "What's happened?" she asked, almost breathless.
"Oh, no!" she gasped, tears welling up in her orbs. That filly had been as close to her as a daughter, and she couldn't - wouldn't let anything happen to her now. If Masca had any sense, though, she would find them and make way out of the land. "She would do that, too. Has she actually challenged him, or are they arguing? I mustn't lose her!" Cloudy exclaimed. The child had guts to even approach Satan, let alone challenge him for what was taken by him. She simply couldn't win!

I walked slowly towards the one who'd dared to do such a thing. It wasn't me I was worried about, or yet, this land. But as for my queen, my love... Scar, as well as that of my dead brother...
I shook my head a bit at Volo's words. "No, not again. I'll not lose her..." I muttered, before charging towards the impudent wretch, my hellion nature screaming for battle, my horn flashing as I galloped down the dune separating me from the devil. I stopped short though when I saw him, before laughing.
"I remember you, Satan. How's old Exile doing, or did he not make the cut?" I snorted a bit, before nodding to young Masca. "Go, Masca. Go to The Gemdas. Let Heart of Gold know that others will be coming soon. Should I win, I'll come to let you know, and we'll come back. Should I loose... Well, I've never been kept down long." I said quietly to her. "In this case, hellion blood won't help you." whether she'd listen or not, I wasn't sure; she was headstrong, Masca was. I hoped she would though, for her own sake.
"Satan, I challenge you, for both this land, as well as for Bambala's Cybele, Atanas and Scar." I said, knowing that having a fight in Red Sun would likely only result in others getting hurt along with me and this damned devil. "Unless, of course, you're scared of me...."

| “If you lose, you'll lose more than your queen and these two, but your freedom as well. As for Exile, well, he's moved on, into a new life. Though my grandchildren have to find his bitch of a daughter and kill her off.” He shook his head, quite amused by this situation.
Satan's words were a hiss. “You think you can beat an immortal? A god so to speak?” the god of the underworld was quite surprised by the boldness of this young one.
“If I win, you won't be going to the Gemdas, Therthis.” No, this was one horse that would not keep his freedom when he lost. He was intriguing.
“Then as the king of Hölle auf Erde I will accept your challenge. I'll meet you in Bimbisaar.” The words were laced with power, and it was a power that had not been seen in a long time.

I laughed a bit. "Right, well, good luck locating any of Exile's other heirs. They can make themselves scarce pretty easily, from what I know. They got that from the bastard himself..." I said, before turning my head towards Masquerade for a moment. "Trust me, Masca... Stay away from the battle grounds, and keep to the mountains, unless I don't return. Please, don't challenge him." to him though, I nodded.
"Whether I win back that which I have lost, or simply buy time for those who you can't touch as of yet, it will be well enough worth it to me." I responded, before spreading my wings and, with a few running bounds, shot into the air, circling a few times as I watched a black colt and his young mother near the edge of the land... Oskana and her young son, Oskamani.
"A demon and a misfit? Eh... Why is it always me?" he murmured to himself with a small, grim smile. "Ah well, I wouldn't be able to live a peaceful life anyhow..."

| Bambala glared at the stag with all her might, seeming to tremble from the mere stare. But she was a queen, or at least an ex-queen, and would let nothing stand between her and the grounds of her past love. "Leave," she threatened once more quietly, ready to throw everything she had at him with a young fae, little more then a filly threw herself at the immortal stag. Blinking with surprise as she defended her son, she urged him to run while he had a chance. But he wouldn't leave, not now.
The colt, still somewhat dazed from the rough handling struggled to his hooves and stood, legs splayed for a moment before joining his mother with the hate filled glare. "Be careful Therthis," she mumbled, not wanting to see her kings brother died for her.
Eyes peeled around the red sands, trying to find some sort of escape. But there was no where to hide in the vast plains of red. Someone needed Ashton, he would be able to put an end to this. Surely, he had to.
