Description: Nyx is a coal black mare with a fearsome appearance. Her pelt is short and kept, but her tresses spill down below her knees. Flames wreath round her body, up her pillars, like a fiery snake. Flickers of flame might exit her nostrils is she is especially angry or emotional. Nyx's eyes are a glowing amber.

Height: 15hh

History: Nyx was born to a unicorn mother and a hellion father. Though their species were at war, they had somehow managed to see the good traits about each other and fell in love. And so, Nyx and her twin sister, Hemera were born. Nyx's name came from the way her pelt was dark and seemed to absorb any light. The flames of her father seemed to have passed onto her. However, she took on her mother's gentle and loving personality. There have been many who have seen her claiming that she is a hellion, driving her out of their lands, even though they could not have been any further from the truth.

Nyx was best friends with her twin, although their personalities were on the opposite ends of the spectrum. They were inseparable. However, their parent's union was soon found out, and there came an outcry or protest. To save them, their parents forced them to leave, even though they did not want to. In the end, they did, and they grew up by themselves, taking care of each other, till they reached Freedom's Palace.

They know that their personalities are not compatible, and are content to split up once they have found their mate.

Personality: Nyx is sweet and caring, despite her fearsome appearances. She is brave and loyal, and will not hesitate to help others in need. She usually hates hellions and other cruel horses, but she has a soft spot for her sister, whom she cannot bear to hurt. Nyx is generous and is not one to hold grudges.

Description: A beautiful silver mare with ice blue eyes. At a first glance, she seems so pure and full of light, so sweet and innocent that one can hardly help but fall in love with her. A blue and silver horn emerges from the middle of her forehead. Mystical sparkles float around her as she walks.

The unicorn's horn of her mother was passed on to her, along with the mystical shimmer that usually accompanies a unicorn. However, she took on her father's ferocious and cruel personality. There have been many who have seen her who think she was a unicorn and come to her for help, and only met their death at her hooves, no matter how much her sister tried to intervene.

Personality: Hemera is opposite of her appearance. She is cold and cruel, and would rather kill you than talk to you. She enjoys hunting and playing with her prey, using her deceptively sweet appearance and charm to ensnare them so they will come to her willingly. She cares not who she hurts, as long as it is not herself or her sister.
