Sneak Rules

Sneaking

Failure to follow these rules can lead to you no longer being able to sneak with your characters (can still be snuck from by others).

- Stallions can sneak for up to two mares from one person at a time, limit two ppl.

- Can sneak for a territory but its not recommended unless the leader is inactive.

- Mares can sneak for freedom and/or their foals freedom.

- Sneaks must be decipherable and must have hints as to what you are sneaking for and from whom.

- Stallions can only block for half their herd or the majority if the herd is an odd number (ex: Blocks mare A, B, C (3/6) OR A, B, C, D (4/7).

- If a stallion blocks mares A, B, and C, but you were sneaking for mare D, then you don’t have to wait for the three days to be over. A moderator will check to see if it’s valid.

- Moderators will not remind you to post the meanings of sneaks. A sneak will remain open for blocking after the three days, until its meaning has been posted.

- Sneaks can be in riddle/poem form or just said.

- Must wait three days, if the person you are sneaking from does not block by then, say who it was for and a mod will declare it valid/invalid.

- Cannot sneak for something somebody is already challenging for.

- If you are going to cancel a sneak then you must still post who the sneak was for with the reasoning of your sneak. Also, when you are asked to reveal who/what your sneak is for (whether it was invalid/valid) you must reveal the reasoning of your sneak as well (how each line related to what you were sneaking for, etc.)


Let me give you an example of a sneak...

A maiden, gold as the sunset
She ran from the crowded life, to live alone
Until she arrived, and settled down
In a land of darkness, surrounded by instant death

Taken by a brute, unknown and unseeing
Ghostly and cold, he now stands before his successors
Fighting rages, still the one is not chosen
This girl of light is lost

The person who plays Dark Tanatos might reply after this was posted, blocking Dark Fire, Fire Ice, Dark Rebel, Black Starlight, Koda and all foals. He also blocks his lands, Shadow Forest.
Dark Tanatos did not block Sanafrisia from the sneak, and so as soon as he has posted, Phenox is within his rights to take the mare and give the reasoning for his sneak. His reasoning went like this:

This sneak was for Sanafrisia from Dark Tanatos
A maiden, gold as the sunset - refers to Sanafrisia's gender and colour (she's chestnut)
She ran from the crowded life, to live alone - in her history, it said she lived her life as a loner, running from her herd
Until she arrived, and settled down - she came to the claimance grounds and was claimed
In a land of darkness, surrounded by instant death - Darkness = Shadow, part of the lands name. Instant death is usually thought of as being a drop from a cliff. Shadow Forest is surrounded by cliffs.

Taken by a brute, unknown and unseeing - referring to her stallion
Ghostly and cold, he now stands before his successors - ghostly = dead, he's dead, cold refers to his temperament. And now looking for his successor from among his herd
Fighting rages, and still the one is not chosen - refers to the fighting in the thread where Rebel and Tanatos meet to decide the next lead
This girl of light is lost - she's not active anymore

This sneak would be said as Valid, because of all the hints and whatnot. It referred to the lands, Shadow Forest, the stallion Dark Tanatos, and the mare.
