Jaen came from a distant land where she always fought with her mother and their family never got along. At times, the surrounding packs had to come and break up the fights as she grew up. From these fights, there were several scars since her mother was quite abusive when she was angry. Her father was not into the picture because her mother was banished from the pack after she had Jaen because she had killed another female's pups.

She was accepted into the pack at 6 mo after escaping her mother. Soon after, she left, wandering about until she found Freedom's Palace.
