Rosella was born and raised in the wild and had an uneventful youth where she was safely guarded by her family because she was so naive. She really couldn't fend for herself and was very helpless as a foal. Her mother thought she would never learn about the world but she did eventually. Rosella was always very weak an petite and does not consider herself a fighter. She was raised to be a princess not a warrior.

After leaving home, she was captured by a band of stallions who never actually forced her but tormented her for quite a while before letting her go near the border to FP. She crossed it, finding herself in a land of immense beauty
