Ottilia is a kind and cheerful young mare who is quite skilled in the ways of the bush, thanks to Bella and Thowra's teachings. She is a smart young thing and knows that someday she will be happy in a herd of her own. She seems to have inherited the love of being chased by men, from Thowra, and loves leading them on paths that their horses just won't handle after a while.

If her freinds or a foal is in danger she will defend them, no matter what she is up against, whether it be: man, stallion or some creature of the bush such as a snake. She is very brave and very swift of foot.

Ottilia was born at a time when there was peace in the lands, not long after her older brother was killed, along with her twin sister who she barely even knows these days. As a foal she lived a happy life, having fun and playing games like all foals do.

Soon after becoming a yearling though, her father died, and she ran away from home. Oh she stayed withing the Snowy River lands, but because she had learnt how to stay hidden so well, not even Thowra himself could find her if she did not want him to. Those were fun times as a yearling and two year old.

More than once she was chased by men, and everytime she has escaped. She knows that a man with a black horse will never stop hunting her, but that is something she is more than alright with. She knows what she is doing when it comes to him.

Now she has left the Forest, after saying goodbye to her mother and grandfather, and heads to seek out her own destiny.
