History ;;
Ivy grew up in a stable outside Saratoga race track in the United States and was produce of two very successful racehorses. Like her brother before her, whom she knows not the name of, she fell victim to cruelty from the humans. When she was young, her mother always told her that she pitied the filly for falling into a lifestyle such as this one when she had no will to race. It was truly a pity to grow up as a race horse with no thrill to running - unless it was running free. It wasn't that Ivy hated humans...she just hated their lifestyles.
As a result of not running fast enough, her trainer would constantly beat her with a whip - knowing that he could not beat her with a board since her brother ran away after he was beaten with a board. One night, though, when the moon was shining high over the stables and she was out in the pasture, she jumped the five-foot fence with all her strength combined and galloped away. She did not know where she was going or when she would get there. She just knew she wanted to be very far away from the place she used to call home.
The bad thing was...her mother had told her that she had a sibling but she knew not the name he went by! All she knew is that he was dark bay as a colt and was branded "82" on his shoulder, the same 82 that she had on hers. How in the world was she supposed to find him?
One day, as she was running free, she was roped and put on a massive ship. She woke up to the sounds of splintering wood again and knew she was free. Quietly, she slept that night on the beach...and when she awoke, she was on a very different beach. Actually, it was a river! How lucky was she that she hadn't ended up at the bottom of the waterfall that was dead ahead.
Personality ;;
Ivy is easy going for the most part, unless you try to tell her what to do - in which she will respond sarcastically telling you that you are not her mother. That she didn't even know who her mother was, so apparently no one could command her. She has always been a carefree spirit, but dreams a lot and has lived in a pipe dream most of her life. Although she is determined, she does not foresee failure when she is bound straight toward it. Ivy cries a lot, in comparison to other horses but usually is forgiving, if not a little bit too much.
Unlike her 'family'....well they raised her, that's all, she couldn't hold grudges. Her bright green eyes always shone away despair and hatred with every love they touched. She prides in her 'ladylike' nature but has a strong noble heart when she is required to.
Alliance ;; Light Languages ;; English Temperament ;;
Ivy doesn't really fight with anyone, unless she feels threatened or said individual is threatening someone she cares about. When she is angered, it is not just a little - it is a lot and she carelessly throws words around. Most of the time, she knows what she is doing, but in the times where she does not know what she's doing, she acts like she does. She's mad, in a loving way, for when she falls in love, she will spend every waking moment with that someone.
