The clattering of hooves brought attention to the creamy heir, the silken tresses of his mane cascading down his rippling muscles as he escorted his beloved to the land of life.

But something was not right with the aging King, as if his once perfect pelt was turning into the raggles of old age. As if the loss of his first son and mother rested heavily upon his shoulders, threating to push him deep into the ground. And with the added pressure of the coming war, he felt as he might die before that time even reached them.

But, as he beloved requested, he would grant her another foal. This one he would struggle with the depths of hell to keep alive and safe under his wing, well if he had wings.

Tossing his head and turning to Bella, he gestured for her to lead the way with a bow of his nose, knowing she would have a certain place in mind.

The thought of bringing a new foal into the world was a pleasant one for the beautiful creamollo mare who moved through the trees. She was aging yes, but the lands safety came first for her, not her own death. There had to be someone to live on who would be able to take Kairva’s place when he chose to die, and that was why she had chosen to come to the glade now. That and the knowledge that soon, her death would come to the lands. Many she knew were dying and this would take its toll on the lands.

She would live on in their foal, she knew that much. She danced her way through the glade, proud as her mother was. Soon she stopped in a small area near at waterfall. She did not stop completely, no, she swam across the river towards the cascades of water and stepped through them into a cave with another tunnel. This tunnel she followed, climbing easily up until they were about halfway up the waterfall. In the open space within this spot of the tunnel she stopped.

He followed her willing, head bobbing along as he trotted after her fluid stride. And though somewhat confused, he followed his beloved down her path, having no clue where it was that she sought.

Pushing his mass though the soft crashing waves of the water, he shook his body out on the other side before trotting after her to catch up, questions tugging on his lips.

Coming to the enterence of the tunnel, he blinked in suprise and shook out his wet, creamy mane.

"I say, my dear," he mumbled "however did you find this?"

She chuckled. "getting chased by Flaming Blade of Hell. I ducked through he waterfall knowing he wont enter on. I followed the tunnel when I found it. He chased me when I was returning with Arasse when she was a foal."

She smiled. "I thought you might like this place."

Despite his chest growing tight at the mention of the harsh stallion, he nuzzled her side after a moments thought and nodded at the tunnel.

"It is beautiful," he admited before turning his soft gaze back to her "though, not so much as you my queen."

He lasped into a silence.

"Well, my dear, shall we create our final gift to the world?" he whispered, caressing her soft neck, already knowing deep within his heart that this would be their last. Death was upon him, and though he still felt young he was getting older every day. Soon, a perhaps in the war, he would pass.

She chuckled at the reaction from him in mention of Blade. "I think we should." she smiled at him, gently nipping him. "odd how both of us are hellion like him yet we do not fear water."

The noble creamy head bowed, nuzzling her side before mounting her with his gentle touch.

Finishing the deed, he dropped once more to his hooves and ran the length of his body agains ther lovingly.

"Come my love," he whispered "let us spend our last few months doing what we have always wished."

She smiled, nipping him gently. She knew that they ought to do that, I had been a long time since they had had any time to themselves. The lands were always busy. There was always some things Going on that needed either if their attention.
