Falling Into Safety

The half hellion Appaloosa mare galloped tiredly towards the border of the Keepers lands, knowing she had to get there as quickly as she could before she fainted from exhaustion. Her father continued to bite at her, she was bleeding for she would not defend herself at the moment. There was only one thing in her mind and that was getting away from him. She would not fight back.

He bit into her, planting his hooves and holding onto her. She neighed in rage and this time really struck back at him, forcing him to let go unless he wanted to lose an eye. She quickly danced away from him and cantered on towards the border line.

“Leave me alone father!” she bellowed at him.

“Never! You are not going to get into there, young lady!” Flaming Blade of Hell pranced in front of her forcing her to turn and try and find another way past him. He continued to block her until she finally fell over, unaware that she had managed to cross the border. As soon as she laded on her side, she fell asleep.

Everyone could hear Blade's outrage, but it was not long before Thowra himself appeared. “BLADE! GET AWAY FROM THERE!” Blade left, following after his immortal older brother.

She was asleep before she knew it, she was so tired from running the distance she had.
Thowra glared at his brother, daring him to try and say no to Marcan. Instead, the chestnut hellion hurtled himself at Thowra.
“I apologise,” Thowra said. “I'll deal with my brother. He should know better.” He sighed, starting to fight his brother. The mist did not seem to affect him,a nd soon enough he drove Blade away from them, leaving the woods quiet and peaceful once more.

"Help has been gifted to me once before by Celeena therefore I will always help those within the Healer's lands," Thowra replied, before kicking his brother into the air and out of sight with his vampire strength. He vanished afterwards.

Belofte began to stiffen from all the bites that her father had given her.

She sighed in her sleep, plagued by the nightmares of her past. Occasionally she felt the touch of Marcan's horn, but she was too tired to wake up in surprised.

She was so tired from the mad gallop she'd had to do. She woke though as someone touched her, leaping to her feet in surprise. She lowered herself down once more though when she realised who it was. “Marcan.” She smiled looking at him. She couldn't believe she had actually made it.

"Other than the fact I am exhausted from getting here from the Sanctuary of the Solo because my father chased me the entire way?"

She chuckled at his words. "I have come to stay," she replied.

"Its not a new home for you," she replied. "Though it is for me. One I never thought I would be able to go near once when I was younger." She chuckled, getting to her feet slowly. There were some things that never changed. She had enough energy to get away from the border at least.

"Even for one who has lived here their whole life?" she asked with a little snort of amusement. It did surprise her what he had said.

She blinked. "Not even Celeena?" that was something of a surprise for the young Fae. She'd never met Celeena but she had heard of her.

She walked with him evenly. "And you're allowed to tell an outsider like me about it?" she asked. She was amused to say the least.

She knew that others of her kind could use that knowledge to do the keepers here a fair bit of harm. She smiled as they walked though, looking around with eager eyes. There was nothing about this place that made her uneasy at the moment.

“Its a beautiful place,” she replied, smiling at him as she looked around. She knew now that she had made the choice that she should have. This was a place where she felt wanted at the moment, and a place where she really did feel safe.

"it's the land of wishes, that I know," she replied. She smiled at him, walking in front of him. Where was she really going now?

She looked over the edge and blinked, eyes widening. She stared at the waterfall, and then followed the path he showed her. “This is amazing,” she murmured, looking at him for a moment. How had she not been able to hear the waterfall until they reached it? That was something she had not been anticipating at all.

“Its well hidden, I couldn’t hear it until I saw it,” she said as they walked. She walked with him, gazing around her in utter wonder. How was such a beautiful thing able to be hidden from her ears?
