"It took her a few moons to choose what to do with herself," Yarraman replied. "I am glad that she has finally moved on to someone else."
The chestnut smiled. What he would give to have Bel Bel back in his herd, but he knew she would never come back.

"We have, but our nephew rules in Pheonix's place. Saberdoria, or Peace he is known as." She blinked though, seeing a young chestnut stallion who looked very much like Sundawn winging his way down into their forest. Was it Saberdoria?

He sighed. "You know you are my heir, don't you, Yara?" he asked, smiling at her. This might be the last time he saw her.

The chestnut horse snorted, soaring down towards where Bella and Kairva stood.

"Not if a filly is born first. The leader of Misty Mountains has a daughter for his heir, and she is now Queen there. It has been known for daughters to take over the position of their fathers," Yarraman replied. "As to what, my title as the Gamma of Snowy River Forest."

"Only to speak with you and my aunt, the sister of my mother Sundawn," Saberdoria replied. "I am Saberdoria, King of Thunder Meadows, Pheonix's heir."

"I would have to find another queen and raise another to take your place. Something that with my age now, is a little too much. Snowy Thunder has no claim to my role, being not the son of my queen."

Saberdoria sighed relieved.
"I come to ask a question of you, Kairva."

Yarraman sighed. "It's good to have you here once more, Yara. Though when you next leave I very much doubt we will meet again." Time was catching up to him at the moment. And he knew that. Two decades had passed since the day he was born. "Would you believe me if I told you I've been around for exactly two decades now?"
His eyes roamed around the clearing they were in. Where she stood right now was where he had been born. "I was born right where you're standing now."

"I am not sure if you are aware of the turmoils my land has suffered at the moment. Most of it is badly burnt, and needs time to recover. At the moment, there is nothing there for horses to eat."
He paused.
"I know of the trouble Hades has caused you, Saberdoria," Bella replied. "The animals of the air and bush have told me such things, as they ever will. I have spoken of this to Kairva, not so long ago."
"I was wondering if for the time being those who run with me could run here?"

"Yes, he has, and well, he took my father from me and from my mother permanently. Kicked us out, too. I only just fought with him for it." His body was stiff from that fight but it was a welcome stiffness in his joints.
"Perhaps she can, I may have to seek her out. Thunder Meadows is a beautiful place, but at the moment it is ruined."

Yarraman chuckled. "Few alive today know where I was born, mostly myself, the creatures of the bush and you."

Bella looked at Kairva. "Do not think that you can leave me here while you two go off on your own. I will not allow that."

Saberdoria smiled. "Nor would I want to steal him away from you,Bella."

He sighed. "I am sorry to take him away like this, Bella," Saberdoria replied. He snorted. "But my lands are in dire need of help at the moment. They will have no grass or anything for winter if they do not get help."

Bella sighed. "Don't stay away too long, Kairva."

The younger stallion smiled. "Of course," he replied. He smiled at the others. "I might go for a fly for a little bit, but I'll be back soon." He spread his long chestnut wings, knowing that right now the sky was where he wanted to be.

Snorting, he backed up and then leapt into the sky powerfully. It was clear that he was one with the wind of the sky, something none could be other than Bel Bel.
