T R I G I A D E A

Running, hunting, trying, surviving, and dying
The wolves have no home anymore, that's why they are crying.
For miles and miles howls are heard discussing their fates.
Humans don't care for this animal; wolves are forgotten then killed.

Humans don't know that a wolf has no hates.
That's why a wolf doesn't end up at Hell's gates.
Dark night color blue; wolves' images are relived on 14 Karat gold plates.
The round moon is the only light that they see.

Humans keep on destroying a beautiful home.
Wolves aren't dumb; they know they have no place to roam.

She was a gorgeous young white fae. Her upper coat was stained in beautiful red fur, reaching from the tip of her nose, over her head, across her spine all the way to the tip of her tail. Terror gnawed at her mind as she saw the humans approaching her cage, ready to force her into what they called a performance, when she only did what they wanted out of sheer terror for her very life. She knew that she was nothing if they released her, all that would happen would be her death.

Into the great tent they herded her and the other wolf, a male brute who cared enough for her only to give her his pups. It was pure torture in this tent, because they were forced to fight each other. A thing which she found utterly repulsive. Whoever lost the fight got nothing to eat for a week, and only rationed water. She was the one who normally went hungry, this particular brute was twice her size and strength.

This time when she was forced into the fight cage she grimaced. There were three other wolves in here, including the one who always tore her to shreds. She growled though, lowering into a fighting crouch, ready to do battle though she knew she stood no chance in this fight. All these brutes were so much more powerfully built. Leaping forwards, she sank her teeth into one of them, only to get thrown off into the bars of the cave. For a moment she lay there stunned from the strength of the one who had thrown her.

Then she leapt into the fight once more, only to find herself thrown aside more than once, this time from a wolf sinking his teeth into her shoulder and tossing her away once more. She lay there, in a crumpled heap, unable to move while the brutes fought. More than once, they collided with her, claws ripping her flesh before being moved away at one of the other males in the arena.

She sighed as she was locked on her own in another cage, while the other wolves were fed for their 'good' performance in the ring. She could see one of her masters talking with the other masters, occasionally looking in at her. At the end though she heard them say, “Once her pups are born we'll drown them in front of her. She needs to toughen up and that should do it to make her do just that!”

Laughing the humans moved away into their house and she sat there, listening to the laughter going on. The other wolves who sat in companionable silence in their cage looked at her and laughed as well. “You're a ridiculous excuse for a wolf. They should just drown you, none of your pups will be any good at fighting!”

She stayed awake well into that night, licking at the many tears in her fur. She sighed as she did, she never got any help from the humans. She was a waste of space as they called her. It was a small mercy that they gave her a separate cage at the moment, but she would be up for the forcing when the pups were born and drowned, thrown in with the other males.

The very thought made her howl, wanting some reprieve from the devastation that was her life.

At night is the call of the wild.
Something pure on this Earth; like a new born child.

Cool air, water, and snow once demolished their fears.
There is nothing out there anymore; nothing but tears.
An innocent dream, turned black in the darkest clear...
For fire now dwells on the western land.

A newborn wolf pup sees his life has been altered.
No soft land to comfort your paws-only land of
concrete and people. Civilization to you.
No home No hope No life; but great
sadness and fear. Why can't the kingdom of
salvation take them home.

Soft white and grey flecked pelt glinted under the moonlit sky. Stars twinkled high and the moon, his brother, called to him. It was a full moon, his favourite night of the year. His paws loped gently over the sloping ground, taking the miles from under him without a worry in the world.
He was a lone wolf, travelling from here to there and seeing the land as they were. He was one with the environment, having a mutual understanding with his brothers and sisters from other species.
As he glided lightly over the leaf littered ground, his nose wrinkled back in disgust. Humans. A smell he knew all too well. Turning quickly, he went to leave the area but only paused once more, for the humans scent was mingled with others. Wolf scents.
Curious now, he lowered his hulk to the ground and crawled, peering though the branches and came to a stone building.
Half hidden by foliage, it radiated many scents. Humans, blood and wolves being the main. But within the heavy smell of brutes, the lingering scent of a she-wolf. He paced closer, nudging the door open with his nose only to duck behind a pile of crates at the loud voices of humans.
He couldn’t make out much, but ‘drown’, ‘pups’ and ‘weak’ seem to stick in mind. This brought his mind to worry, knowing he needed to save the pups before they were injured. Even if they were not his own, no one deserved to die at a young age.
With the voices trailing away, he ducked out from his hiding positions and scurried past and walked silently down the concrete floors, sniffing the air gently as he passed the brutes pen, following his nose to the she-wolves scent. If there were any pups, no doubt they would be with the only female in smelling range.
So he paused, outside a locked cage and peered into the dark depths, soft green orbs landing upon a skinny yet beautiful she-wolf. Her red and white coat gleamed in the little light allowed into the dark corner, her fur was matted with something he guessed was blood and by the look of her bludging stomach; pups were in the equation as well. He guessed that meant the humans were going to drown them once they were born.
“Pssh,” he whispered “hey you!”
He kept it low, trying to gain her attention.
“Are you okay?” he asked, sitting on his haunches and tilted his head slightly to the side.

At first she snarled when she saw the brute looking in at her. But then she realised he was not one of the ones who she had been fighting. He was a wild one. That was something she had not seen coming at all. Who would be interested in her, the mutt of the pack of wolves here?

She did not know what to make of him. “In mind I might be alright, but not in body,” she replied, looking at him. “You would be a fool to come here, they’ll catch you, force you to fight as well.”

She sighed. She just wanted to be able to get out of the place she was at the moment. It was not a good place for a she-wolf like her. At least they gave her some alone time, but this was simply torture. She hated the thought of her pups being drowned as soon as they were born, she worried over that.

Even though she knew it would be useless, she would likely try to fight the men off. But there were five men and only one of her; she would not be able to save them. She knew they were going to be born very soon and she was scared. She did not want to lose any of them.

He stepped back in surprise, eyes wide as he took in the fiery colour fae. What had happened to her to act such a way? Clearly, she saw him as a threat. Maybe it was a pregnant female thing.
He rested lightly on his haunches, head tilted slightly to the left as he studied her in silence.
"They won't catch me," he said confidently, standing once more and pacing the length of her cage, tail flicking back and forth "but...why were you caught? Surely you are fast enough to run from humans."

He frowned slightly, halting before the gate and studied the cage door with interest, having never seen anything like this before. Then again, he had only ever smelt humans never actually seen them.
"Did you want me to get you out?" he questioned, eyes darting over to her before returning to the door "I can...I think...if you like."

He jumped back on his hind paws, grasping the lock in his teeth and yanked it with all his heavy mass. It jingled loudly as he continued to tug and gnaw at it. Growling softly to himself, he tried one last time.
Throwing all his weight backwards, he landed heavily on the ground with a squeak and was hit in the side with the lock. But the gate swung open.
Internally cheering, he stepped into the cage and grinned wolfishly at the fae.
"Come on then, lets go," he said, looking over his shoulder at the thundering approach of humans.
"Quickly."

"I won't be able to go far," she growled as she got to her feet carefully. All she wanted was for her pups to be safe. Maybe she would not return to the humans who owned her. “And I was born into captivity. At first I was owned by a young human child, she loved me and I loved her. When I got bigger though and they realised I was a wolf pup, they sold me to this... fighting arena. I would only have had a year or two at most left in that place.”

She sighed. “I wish the first family had kept me, I’ll always remember that you girl, I loved her too much. Should I ever see her again though, I will say hello to her, she’ll remember me. I owe her my life, I was born and then my family was killed. Had she not found me, I would be long dead.”

It was clear from her words that she was able to trust some humans. She did not stop running before she reached the other side of the river, though she struggled to swim across that. “I have to stop. I think my pups are on their way.”

She grimaced. She could hear the men shouting, and calling the other wolves, to hunt her down. Hunt and kill. There was no chance she would be able to fight them off this time. Having them able to come at here from any direction was something she could not handle at the moment. What would her saver do?

He loped easily beside her, his massive and fit build not finding trouble with the pace the heavily pregnant fae was setting. But the quickly approaching humans worried him, for her safety.

His head shook slightly at her words. Friends with humans? Surely, even she, knew not to trust the odd two-legged creatures. Each to their own, he guessed and jumped easily across the fast flowing river, turning to watch her swim across with a worried look. Using his nose, he nudged her up the steep back and watched as the tamed wolves easily splash across, all five of them with cruel grins as they stared at the couple and started to yap loudly.

"Go...into the trees," he ordered her, "stay there...I'll take care of these."

With those words, he lept back across the river, jaws locking around one and sending him to the ground dead before he had even landed. He fought like a true wolf, teeth and claws grasping onto every surface possible. Unlike these trained fighters, he knew the ways of the wild and easily had weight and size against his opponents.

The last one dropped with a gurgle of blood and Luikawa wiped his maw on the grass, getting rid of the blood, before turning to follow the fae's scent.
"Miss?" he called, trying to find her "where are you? Are you okay?"

His nose darted in and out of bushes, trying to find her red form.

She sighed as she rested on her side, she was very uneasy about the fighting going on. One of the dogs that had come after her had been her son, but now she knew, he was no more. That was something that saddened her, but it was either he died, or she did. There was no chance that he would show her any mercy, nor would he show Luikawa mercy either.

She struggled for a while, as the fighting went on out in the clearing. Slowly but surely, three young pups were born. One was alike to her in appearance, a beautiful little female. The second was born female as well, but she was white and brown in colour, also she seemed to only have three legs, one of her front legs was missing. And the third was brown and black, his underbelly was black, the rest was brown.

She smiled as she licked them clean gently.

Luikawa's head popped in and out between the trees, scurrying under bushes before he finally followed his nose and found the red-white fae he had saved. But she wasn't alone, rather with 3 newborn pups at her side.
He stepped closer softly, eyeing each of the pups with warm eyes and sighed sadly when he noticed the one missing a leg.
"They are beautiful," he told her softly, staying where he was as he was unsure if she would allow him to approach her pups "have you named them?"
He was completely sucked in the the puppies, he didn't care who's they were so long as she stayed with him. He would happily raise them as his own, to be there father. And yet, he didn't even know the fae's name but he was already in adoration of her.
"I'm Luikawa," he introduced himself softly, sitting on his haunches a few strides away "and we need to leave miss, Alaknanda River is no place for newborn pups....who know's who would do what to you... especially since the King's death, funny things have been happening."

She smiled as she looked down at the three pups beside her. They were beautiful little things. When she caught the brute's scent, she almost growled, but stopped when she saw who it was. "I have, Luikawa." She smiled at him. "Oh by the way, I'm Trigiadea."

She looked down at the little pups, and sighed. They were only minutes old and yet all of them had to move on. "Sciaran is the one like me. Sennah is the white and brown one. And my son is Fiachra."

One of them looked up at her for a moment, before lying down and falling asleep. "How can we move them while they sleep?" she asked, looking at the other two who were asleep as well.

Luikawa smiled at her name, already whispering the name in his mind.
"They are beautiful names," he commended her with a small smile, looking over each pups with a loving eye.
"I shall help carry, if you wish," he offered with a tilt of his head "And one can ride between us, we'd just have to walk closely together."
He approached her slowly, waiting for her go ahead before touching one of the pups.

She looked down at the little pups, knowing that they had to be on the move. Sighing, she lowered her head and gently picked one of them up by the scruff of the neck. This was the one with the missing leg. The others all looked up at her, and at Luikawa. They did not understand what was happening.

“Let's get moving,” she replied. “Is there anywhere we'll be safe?” She was sorry that her pups were mutts when it came to their bloodlines. None of them would ever be true wolves, and that was something that saddened her.

"Yes," he whispered slowly with a nod of his gentle head "the land the Irish king's roam, Gaineamh they named it."
He grasped Sennah by the scruff gently in his maw, before shifting the last to rest between them while they walked.
"I know the king there, he and his brother wish to offer sanctuary to those in need...they care not why, only if they are true of heart and gentle of soul, you shall find safety there," he told her as they paced alongside the river.
"And I shall watch over you, if you wish me to stay..." he peered over at her, a hopeful glance in his orbs.

OOC: sorry its short. Can you make a new thread in Gaineamh? I'll post when I get home from training.
