Description: Nightshade is ebony, with dark purple eyes and a small, fine head.

History: Nightshade grew up trapped on a desert-like island, with tough shrubs and little water, However, when an earthquake rent open her small home, she panicked and swam to the barely visible land, coming up on a foreign coast. There, she learned from a young filly where she was; in a land known as Black Sands. Furthermore, she discovered Alaknanda, and, with heartfelt thanks, went there. However, she soon discovered, on the journey there, that she preferred wandering between and through the lands freely.

Leaving off thoughts of joining a herd, she wandered thus for a few years, before the thought of a foal entered her mind. Sighing inwardly, she went to the breeding grounds, viewing the forcebreeding as a price for freedom. However, the one who came was not what she had expected. Fantasma offered her a place in his herd, and they become not only good friends but parents of a young black colt. However, Nightshade refused to truly join Fantasma's herd, instead agreeing to return every so often and visit, before returning to her never-ceasing travels.

Personality: Adventurous and curious, Nightshade likes seeing new things and exploring various areas of the lands. She never grows tired of her travels, though she'll often visit the land of a new king, to discover whether they welcome wanderers and offer safe haven, or not.
