Daughter Returns {Kanny}

She sighed as she touched the familiar borders of her childhood home. The sands were warm yes, but she did not feel the heat as much as the unicorn beside her would. Snorting, energy seemed to seep into her from the sand, and her steps got stronger and longer as she moved furthur into the sandy land.

"Snow Angel? Mother?" she called.

Two neighs answered. One was male, she knew it to be her brother, the heir of the lands, Abdullah. The other was female.

Two Appaloosa horses came cantering towards them, one white with black spots everywhere, the other a creamy dun with a white rump coloured with spots.

"Greetings Marcán. I am Snow Angel, Queen of Seas of Sand. This is Blue Jay and my heir, Abdullah, one day the new king of our lands." Snow Angel smiled. She was not as young as she used to be, she knew that. "So what brings you to Seas of Sands? Come on in, there's a shady place we can talk."

She turned, leading the way into her home, knowing where there was a lake and a waterfall. Things that she had found over time. The Appaloosa queen seemed to dance through the sand. Soon they reached the main area where she would normally be found.
Blue Jay was no where to be seen. She turned to look at the others once everyone was in that shade. "So, what trouble exactly."
"Trouble Blade brought upon me by being my father," Belofte replied.

The queen snorted. "Harrassing my daughter?" she snorted in annoyance.
"Oh don't pretend to care. You never searched for me since I was taken by him." Belofte glared at her mother.
"Only because no one had seen any sight of you, my daughter," the aging Appaloosa replied.

"I'll never be safe with her, she'll never defend me."
The Appaloosa queen snorted in anger then rear, bringing one of her hooves down at her daughter.
Belofte spun around quickly, biting at her. It was not long until they were both fighting with each other.

She did not dare to hit him, that was one thing she was dead set against doing. He was a nice freind to have.
"Get out of the way, Marcán," the mare said, glaring at her daughter.
"Leave it be, mother," Belofte snorted softly. Her sudden rage was gone.

She stared at Marcán unable to believe her ears at the moment. The young fae stopped where she was, thinking quickly. Did he really mean that? Her with him? He was a unicorn for crying out loud and she was half hellion!

"really?" she asked. Her mother was staring at Marcán as well.

She snorted. She was not used to someone like him, he seemed to defy everything her father had told her of the unicorns in general. She sighed, really not knowing what to think. She enjoyed talking to him yes, but there were things she'd been told.

"I don't know," she replied.

She sighed, not knowing what to do. Even as he vanished, she left as well, heading away to find somewhere she could be safely to think. She turned, heading towards the Sanctuary of the Solo, to give this much thought, as well as heal from the pain of her own mother tuning on her like this.

She would not return to Seas of Sand. Not ever.
